"RAGE" LYRIC VIDEO
On Monday morning, the lyric video for Danity Kane's new single "Rage" was released. With the links to the single and EP on iTunes, the girls were definitely praying that this song could get them to the top of the charts. The music video was directed by the girls themselves and actually features them in the video most of the time, with co-direction and ideas provided by Revolution Records. The video was centered on Danity Kane's No Filter Tour they embarked on earlier this year. As bold lyrics in Futura font read across the screens, Danity Kane was playing at each of their shows. Many scenes were centered around their fans, as the camera shot them gazing and cheering Danity Kane on while they performed. The video also showed Danity Kane rehearsing for many of the shows as well. From on the tredmills to the dance studio to the actual stage, the video was an intimate gift from Danity Kane to their DediKated Crew. And more importantly, the general public would get a sense on just how hard these ladies worked and how people adore them. The whole vibe of the lyric video was just so positive and really motivating. At the end of the video all three girls jump on their beds and go to sleep as the screen shown: "7.28". This could mean anything, but is most likely the music video release date. Fans even speculated that because the part where they go to sleep looked to be filmed so professionally, it could be a part of the music video itself. The lyric video was able to garner almost five million views this week, which is pretty cool for Danity Kane. The song also gained a few positions on iTunes and was just in time for the radio deal that was being in effect since Sunday. You can purchase "Rage" and 'DK3' on iTunes now!

If Robbie gets blocked at number two it'd be kinda funny tbh considering the single is called Free. And I had a single called Free that got blocked by Robbie and Lily. Maybe there's a curse with naming your single Free and it getting blocked by a collab.

Britney Spears On Live With Kelly & Michael
Britney Spears stopped by Live With Kelly & Michael earlier today for an interview & performance to promote her new album "American Dream" and hit single "Gimme Your Best". Britney has been busy promoting her material all week long all around the world while also bringing her sold out stadium tour to various countries. Britney's album is currently the #1 album in the world and Britney only stepped up the promotion this week, getting several exclusive deals to promote the album. Britney is supposedly planning to take a week off after several busy weeks, she told Michael and Kelly that she "wants to relax and take it easy", but that she doesn't know if she can as she has "expectations to meet" for herself and doesn't want to settle for less.
Interview Highlights:
Britney talked with Kelly & Michael about her new album, calling it her "best album yet". She spoke about the producers and what it was like to get a large variety of producers to help her with the album. She talked about what it was like to be the executive producer for her album, calling the shots and picking the final track-list. Britney talked about how she used her life in the past year to help make some of the lyrics on the album but wanted to keep it "strictly pop" and fun, so any emotion was turned into a fun dance tune rather than a somber song. Britney said that the album reflects her personal life as a fun person. Britney talked about why the album doesn't have a parental advisory sticker even though some of the content is a little mature. She also spoke about what it was like to write almost every single song on the record and to get such positive feedback both on the charts and by fans/supporters. Britney also informed Kelly/Michael that she was close to picking the third single and is deciding between two songs at the moment, she mentioned Gimme Your Best and said that she was ecstatic that the GP was picking it up again and still interested in the song.
Performance:
Britney performed hit single "Gimme Your Best" to end the show. Britney wore a black leotard and rose out from underneath the stage on a pole. Britney danced on the pole to the Junkie XL remix of Gimme Your Best. Britney was moving around on the pole for the majority of the performance, spreading her legs as smoke surrounded the stage and fire shot of the ground. Britney got off the pole and went to the front of the stage as men in suits came from behind and picked Britney up. They held her in the air and moved her around before putting her back down. Britney pushed the guys away from her to the final chorus of Gimme Your Best. She tried kicking/pushing one final guy but he blocked all of her moves. Britney pulled him in and kissed him as smoke surrounded the stage and the performance was over. Kelly & Michael reminded viewers to buy Britney's new album "American Dream" and hit single "Gimme Your Best" in stores everywhere and on iTunes.

!!!
It always annoyed me when people went full out on a song for a month, then said "wow! All this for a promo single" as if it had the actual treatment of a promotional single with 2 articles or something.

If you promoted it every single place and in every way it's technically not even promotional anyways lmao.

Britney Spears Night On American Idol
Tonight was Britney Spears night on American Idol. The contestants had to sing a song from Britney's massive discography with Britney herself as a guest judge. Several contestants attempted to bring classic Britney theatrics to their performances, with one contestant attempting to recreate a Circus for her performance. Several contestants performed songs off Britney's new "American Dream" album, a 21 year old girl tried dancing to "Gimme Your Best" while a couple duo recreated a Rihanna/Britney "Touchin' Me" performance, ripping off each others clothes. Britney was having fun the whole night and truly enjoyed the tributes by all the contestants, the contestants were star stuck and nervous when talking around Brit Brit. Britney was nice to all the contestants and only complimented them, no criticism. She thanked American Idol for making it a special "Britney night" for her.
Britney Spears also took to the stage for a medley performance to promote her new "American Dream" record. Britney performed a few songs off the album, she started off with Sweet (Like A Lollipop) and transitioned into Body To Body/Touchin' Me mashup and Gimme Your Best.
Performance
Britney started the performance dressed up in a striped red/white dress with white stockings. Britney was licking a lollipop as the stage resembled a Candyland board with a lot of candy props. Britney danced around the board moving her way along and combatting against paps and other guys as she made her way to the end while singing "Sweet (Like A Lollipop" off the new album, rumor has it this is a potential third single. Britney was dancing on the board and doing back handsprings/other flexible moves to make her way along and avoid trouble. Britney got to the end of the huge board as smoke surrounded the stage and the song transformed to "Body to Body". When the smoke subdued after 20 seconds, a red bed was center stage and Britney was laying on it as she sang "Body To Body" alone. Out of nowhere, Rihanna came out from behind the bed and started moving sensually on the bed frame. She sang "Body To Body" with Britney as she moved to the bed and got on top of Brit Brit. The girls were rubbing on each other as they moaned and touched each other, they were both wearing white lingerie sets. The song then transformed to "Touchin' Me" as the stage faded to black. When the lights came back on the girls were wearing black leotards and dancing on a pole together. They were moving on the pole and belting "Touchin' Me" into their head mics. They got off the pole when the second chorus hit and performed a huge dance break together as water started raining down on them. The girls started touching each other as the song transitioned into an electronic instrumental. They were both laying on the stage when they started descending and smoke covered the stage.
"Gimme Your Best" started playing as Britney rose back up from underneath the stage, she was wearing a black catsuit as girls in special agent outfits came down from the ceiling on black ropes. The girls got into a circular formation around Britney as they bended their backs and danced as a big group. Britney then rose up into the air as part of the stage shaped like a sphere ascended with Britney on top of it and the girls surrounding it. Water started shooting up around the sphere and all the girls at the bottom of the stage got wet and started flipping their hair/touching each other. Britney danced on top of the sphere alone while fire surrounded her in a circle. Britney performed a heavy dance-break to a remixed chorus of Gimme Your Best. Water then rained down on Britney as she danced on the ground of the platform. Britney then jumped off the sphere attached to ropes and swung around in mid air while Gimme Your Best came to a close and water rained down on her body.
The show then faded to a picture of Britney's "American Dream" album/ "Gimme Your Best" single cover with a caption that said "in stores everywhere and on iTunes".

MTV UNPLUGGED
This Wednesday a special of MTV Unplugged played where Danity Kane was the guest for that episode. They performed lots of hits acoustically, put also put on a show of some of their best songs. With each song, they had some commentary. A total of six million people (including streaming) watched the special event take place.
'Danity Kane' Era.
The episode kicked off with "Show Stopper". The girls rolled up in Bentleys and had a live band play the whole song like they did in 2006, so it wasn't an acoustic performance. The girls served "When I Grow Up" teas by getting on top of the cars and dancing a little bit during the song. After that performance, the girls stepped down and they started talking about how they grew up on MTV, made their careers on MTV and how grateful they were to be back on MTV with them fully backing their comeback. "Now, if you're a TRUE DK stan then you'll know this one," Aubrey said as the girls next performed "Touching My Body", a song that was actually created on Making the Band. The girls kept the sexy a little more fun than raunchy as they served more sass in the performance. Right after Shannon spoke a little about the EP they just put out: "DK3 is a reflection of the new Danity Kane. And we call ourselves DK3 because we can't call ourselves Danity Kane all the time, because it's just not the same group. And we really want y'all to get out there and buy it please! We'll perform more songs from that EP later but for now... here's Heartbreaker!" The guitar strummed to the song as Shannon and Dawn opened the track. It's one of their most underrated tracks ever, coming from their debut album. And of course, the drums kicked into a breakdown where the girls harmonized the moans saying "Don't stop!" and then ended the song. They performed one last song, "Stay With Me" which is one of their best tracks from their debut. The song, being a ballad, was incredibly difficult to sing since Aundrea, who is no longer in the group sang the first half. However, Aubrey and Shannon helped one each other out and Dawn switched some parts as opposed to the original track and the three made it work absolutely beautifully. A commercial break played and then they transitioned into their second album songs.
'Welcome to the Dollhouse' Era.
They opened with "Bad Girl" as the crowd roared, and jail cages were brought out with backup dancers, something new to the program. The girls served a very seductive performance, tearing some of the men's clothes off to reveal their hot bodies which definitely raised eyebrows at home. They did their regular routine over the Missy Elliot rap, which brings the song to a whole different level. After that, Dawn said, "We gotta keep 'em satisfied" as they brought out chairs and had some of the dancers sit on them to give them lap dances while performing "Strip Tease". The song, a fan-favorite, was executed perfectly on the stage. After that they transferred to the more fun, care-free "Pretty Boy". "See," Dawn began. "Everytime I see these pretty boys Aubrey tells me a little somethin' whatcha always say Aubrey?" Aubrey responded, "I say you can't **** them because they're gay!" and the song began to play. It was filled with some pumping choreography, as Danity Kane interacted more with the fans and had a good time. For their final performance for that part of the episode they did "Damaged", their biggest single yet for the crowd. They did the normal choreography, slaying it and bringing it to different dimensions with some new moves and lots of more collaborative moves with backup dancers. Another commercial break played.
'DK3' Mini-Era.
They started with "Rhythm of Love", sitting it down and performing it acoustically with just a guitar and a bucket to accompany them. Their vocals were fire and soft, and they also showed a slower, more emotional side to the song than the final EuroDance sound its known for. After that, they kicked everyone off the stage as "Lemonade" featuring Céline Dion came on. They all did hot new choreography on the stage, and when Céline rapped her verse she went IN feeling the rhythm, delivering her most consistent and solid flow of her career yet in that one performance which made fans go crazy. They closed out with "Rage", as they reminded the crowd that both the brand-new single and the EP were available in stores and on iTunes currently at the cheap price of $2.99. They served amazing vocals and positivty as they stage dived into the crowd, closing out a fantastic episode.

Sennheiser commercial released starring Zedd

In an effort to take Apple and Beats off the top spot for mainstream audio equipment, Sennheiser has partnered with Zedd to promote Sennheiser headphones in the United States. This was announced a few weeks ago, and Zedd-branded Sennheiser headphones were announced soon after and started to appear in retail and online stores everywhere. However, people need to be made aware of these new headphones to buy them. Therefore, Sennheiser is rolling out a new advertisement starring Zedd to promote their products and help them sell more. It also serves as promotion for Zedd’s latest album Serenity as well as “Slay” and “Temple.”

The commercial starts with Zedd walking along a wall. The picture is black and white. Zedd walks out onto a stage facing a silent crowd. He puts a pair of Sennheiser headphones on, and then puts Sennheiser earbuds in his ears. He starts to play “Temple.” Color then starts rushing through his body. He spins the turntable on his DJ deck, and quickly lifts his arms up. Color then starts rushing through his stage. When the stage is fully colored, the color then starts rushing through the crowd. As the advertisement ends, a female voice whispers “Sennheiser.” A voiceover which was Zedd then stated, “Buy my new album Serenity and get a coupon for 25 percent off on select Sennheiser products. Also purchase my latest singles at retail and digital stores.”

This commercial will be played at least once every 30 minutes on ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, and The CW. It will also be played at least once every hour on all major cable networks. This will provide exposure for both Sennheiser products as well as Zedd’s album and singles. People are somewhat unhappy about this as Zedd already has two commercials in heavy rotation, one for his Samsung Galaxy S5 Zeddition and another for his Zeddception Club sandwich at Subway. All this really means is that Zedd is going to be getting lots of promotion in the next couple of weeks. If you want to catch these commercials, just watch any of the five major aerial networks or a major cable network!
Zedd's new album Serenity and the singles "Slay" and "Temple" (feat. Lady Gaga) are now available on iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, various retail stores, and all Six Flags parks.
