They're building new stadiums here in Brazil for the world cup (jun/2014), so if the SA tour were after that, MAYBE she could play a stadium in São Paulo. MAYBE one in Brasilia. I'm 99% sure she wouldn't play at a stadium in Rio (the only stadium there is the Maracanã and it fits about 90,000 people, is WAY too much.) She would have to play at an arena there.
I actually believe she would have better chances of a sold out SA tour if she played 5/6 arena shows in Brazil, in different cities around the country, than if she played 1/2 stadiums, but I might be wrong. 1D tickets sold out really fast, but if each 1D fan had to take at least one of their parents to the show cause they're too young to go alone, that's no surprise. The Lord can't count with THAT MANY parents, I think.
I do believe she could do a stadium in Argentina, since most times international acts only go to Buenos Aires (at least the ones i've seen

And as Hunter said, they would have to start selling the tickets 6/7 months early for the stadiums shows if they want them to be sold out (and do some heavy promo.)
It's not that I underestimate the Lord's Her power, but international stadium shows tickets are really expensive, and She would have to be smashing everything to sell so many expensive tickets like 1D or Bieber did.
Demi might have played stadiums in Latin America, but here in Brazil her biggest headline show was at a venue with capacity for 8,000 people. I do think the Lord would have to do at least 2 shows at the same venue if she came.
EDIT: Also, GaGa was HUGE here and it was so hard to sell all the tickets for her stadium show that the government of Rio had to have a big giveaway
