that is not bad considering the it girl rihanna is going to debut in the same range, and ke$ha hasn't done any promo, no banner, etc. not to mention the amount of competition atm. I'm actually quite surprised that she's been able to keep her place ahead of rihanna on itunes even without a banner. It's doing good, all things considered.

I'm honestly happy and proud with how well DY is doing rn. It's amazing that against all odds it's still ahead of Diamonds. Even though Diamonds was released a day later, it has a huge lead on DY in radio airplay and Rihanna has (ofc, it's Rih) been around all year long and is more established and successful worldwide, so this is a surprising feat imo.

It's making me feel optimistic about the next coming weeks. DY just needs a little promotion and more airplay and it will probably perform really well for quite some time.
