I started a thread in base about that 1M WW sales and it was closed despite Headlineplanet and Republic as sources.

They didn't say 1 million WW sales lol. They said 1 million global consumption which apparently includes single sales and streaming, so it's irrelevant. At least DW is the best selling album of the week worldwide though. I'm hoping for a 260k+ WW debut.

It's not even SPS. Global consumption, judging by the article, includes not just streams and track sales during the tracking week but TOTAL streams and track sales. So basically global consumption is irrelevant. At least we know DW was the best selling album of the week WW though!

Btw a serious question, do you guys think Ari's voice is declining? Her low notes are improving but i feel like her belting is becoming more and more strained, forced and unhealthy? Also, she doesn't belt g#5 much on this album compared to ME, there's even no A5. I was anticipating she'll give us another Bb5 also.
I hope she takes more vocal training. She needs to hit those high falsetto notes/whistles live.

Honestly I think I would be the only person who doesn't really care about the singing thing because Ariana is influenced with Mariah's voice but Ariana's been going like Madonna, who always takes music background and the beat above vocals. I don't know, I just don't really know about vocals and those notes either.

She honestly needs a break, the girl has been going nonstop since 2010 and she's clearly worn out.

I definitely think Ariana's voice is declining as a result of her poor technique. Her low notes are inconsistent but overall better than during the ME era. But she's straining a lot more in her upper belts. G#5s used to be so easy for her. Also, she's always dodging the high falsettos or when she does attempt them she's flat or weak. She needs to work with a good vocal coach ASAP. She needs to learn to support her voice in the fifth octave, sing with a neutral larynx, and reduce her tongue/jaw tension.

She needs Gaga's vocal coach then, Gaga's voice improved a lot since The Fame, imagine if Ari gain that amount of improvement on her voice, she'll be the best vocalist of our generation.
