I've come to the conclusion this is the best song Beyonce has ever done.

But i feel that both music video versions didnt really do ALL it could have done in a visual way.

Everytime I listen to Irreplaceable I wish Beyonce wrote the lyrics herself, its my favorite song from her really, I have more but Irreplaceable is amazing to me. Ne-Yo had to be really pissed off at (someone) to write words that sharp and heart piercing. It's more than just an angry, I wanna break up song. I agree, and I think she added so much more. She certainly took the low point of the original demo, and IMO made it the high point. When she does those “to the left, to the left” harmonies towards the bridge http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=foaLW5DGhpI#t=2m31s, it sounds so anguished (and those chord changes..just ARRGH). Like “For the love of God, just GET OUT” You think her guard is about to slip, but she suddenly turns it around with conviction and resumes that confidence and the tempo begins to increase again “Don’t you EVER for a second get to thinking..” Her contributions are SO ****ing underrated.
