I hope not. Yeah, every artist want's it's record to be a success but releasing a new album right after anti flopped would be a joke, everyone would drag her that she's thirsty for success, that she's a label puppet and stuff. She just needs a good release strategy, even Beyonce by Beyonce wouldn't be at 4M, it would be less if it wasn't for the front loaded surprise release sales, the album is forgotten outside online forums.

Rihanna didn't make 24245 business moves over these 3 years to go back to doing yearly releases. She's setting up her career so that she can make money with or without a hit song.
