Something about this makes me physically ill. The way they are dragging the scene out, still seeing the blood on the bat whilst Negan speaks to Rick. The silence of the scene, and how it's a really personal upfront exchange. I knew this was going to be difficult to watch, I'm not one to shy away from horror or gore, but I don't know what it is but the idea of witnessing someone getting their head smashed to pieces is sickening. It's funny to say that because we see walkers get their heads stomped, bashed etc all the time, but it really must be because this tv series has been around for 7 years, and they've built up most of these characters, and to see someone that you possibly feel attached to be beaten to death in such a horrific way, I don't think as a survivor of the group I could live past that moment with even the slightest bit of joy in my life.
And recently seeing Fear The Walking Dead and the scene with Travis and those two teens that killed someone very close to him, and what he did to them, and how the scene was shot and played out, I really feel this is going to be hard to watch.
I get that this needs to be done, as it was written years ago by Robert Kirkman but I do hope they move on quickly, lingering on it to long will be way to much, so please have something immediately after that will distract viewers from thinking about this moment any longer than its already been because I might even go as far as to say they could loose a lot of viewers, as I've sat with people and watched it, and people have literally said I don't even think I want the show to come back, or I don't even want to see that.
