I get what you mean but it still features some new interesting details in the background and the whole tropical (house) sound isn't even that dated. She definitely could have started the trend (like with all the previous releases) if she would have dropped it in January or 2014.

I was excited for it, but it sounds unfinished. Plus I think it's weird that Cheap Thrills is chanted, but never spoken by Sia. I can see why Rih passed on it.
