But they probably would of flopped, considering how Hollywood Records is supportive of Selena.

What I want to know is if Selena even cares about her singles and how they are being treated. If I was an artist I would want to know if my songs were being sent to radio, especially if they had a lot of potential to do well.

I think she cared about AYWR not being the first single and probably about it not being sent to radio's. She seemed VERY passionate about Who Says as well. I think right now, she's more excited about acting than music. I don't think she wants to be huge/she doesn't seem passionate about music. But that's just me looking in way way way on the outside. LOL

I think for Selena music was a childhood dream (based from her audition tape for WOWP) and that she was excited to see it come through. I don't get the feeling she LOVES being a singer though.

I think music is just something she does for fun. If she was passionate about it -- her performances would of been better.

Let's hope we can get two more albums. Because tbqh her music career isn't going to last long.

She most likely doesn't. A lot of the Disney kids-turned singers don't really know how the charts work & aren't chart-savvy in the least.

Selena probably thinks HTL was already released & flopped.

Plus her lack of passion for music is very evident.

She does good on tour though - I think it's a bad case of stage freight.
I think she and HWR will milk the **** out of this as long as they can (which they should, she's selling out shows!) and then she'll move on. Kind of like Vanessa Hudgens did.

I think it could last to be honest - she seems to be doing great in a time where almost all the other Disney/Nick stars are struggling.

SAME.

For example when she's on stage it sometimes feels forced. I don't see her as someone is really passionate about making music and performing. Sure she loves it but it's not her calling.

But I was soo embarrassed for her when Falling Down flopped and the album debuted at #9!

i think, she is very clever and she didnt smoke with weed her brain yet....

Just with a music video and a very careless New Years perform could sell with her 3rd single already almost 200K is a good sign. If the song would send to radios i think it could sell over 1million too!

That's how I would rank her 1st and 2nd singles.
