I don't think Vevo shouldn't counted unless they have a way of discrimnating between veiwers in america and ww otherwise it wouldn't be a fully american chart. Secondly if they did that people/stans would just get a autoclicker and make it refresh the video every second so that the video got more veiws. If they can find a way round that, say only one veiw per computer/ip adress a day/week w.e was counted, allthought i think that would be very hard to track.
Techenology is getting out of hand to the point where the music business is suffering hard and videos getting way more views than need because of things like autoclicker.. The only way now to accurately count views on youtube/ or vevo and to use them for billboards is to count 1 view per pc/ ip address a day/week w.e was counted .. And also the music business needs to find another way to make money cause we all kno ilegal downloading will never stop
Bad Romance outsold ESOM anyways though, right? In the end total sales are the only thing that matters when it comes to charts.
Yup, and it also far outdid it WW, spent longer on the Hot 100 and has more recurrent airplay than ESOM so I'm not mad at it at all really. I love them both
