100 BEST SONGS EVER · #32 - 29

♫"One day while my light is glowing. I’ll be in my castle golden. But until the gates are open, I just wanna feel this moment."♫ | 32 · PITBULL f/ CHRISTINA AGUILERA, "Feel This Moment"
Debut Date: March 16, 2013
Weeks on Chart: 7 Weeks
Peak Position: #02
I really don't get it why a lot people despise Pitbull. C'mon, he never fails to deliver awesome and catchy pop hits. Pitbull had produced a streak of collaborations opposite different pop royalties and I guess this is his best so far. The chorus is extremely catchy, the beats are magnificently enjoyable and the sampling of "Take On Me" is very effective. Will definitely look forward to his future releases.

♫"I know that in the morning now I see us in the light upon a hill. Although I am broken, my heart is untamed, still."♫ | 31 · ONE DIRECTION, "Story Of My Life"
Debut Date: November 2, 2013
Weeks on Chart: 11+ Weeks
Peak Position: #01[2]
Shocked to see them at this position? Were you thinking it's too low? Mind you, these guys ranked pretty well considering that it was only released November of 2013. Despite being critically received even by some who found their singles awful, I can say that this my least favorite single from them. For the record, I am not stating it is awfully bad. It's just that I am more inclined with teenybopper power pop hits. Nevertheless, this track proved that these guys can take a more mature direction. And their vocals improved as well.

♫"I wanna show you all the finer things in life. So just forget about the world, we're young tonight. I'm coming for ya, I'm coming for ya.."♫ | 30 · JUSTIN BIEBER f/ NICKI MINAJ, "Beauty And A Beat"
Debut Date: October 13, 2012
Weeks on Chart: 1 Week
Peak Position: #20
Kicking off the Top 30 is a song with a poor countdown statistics but definitely grew on me enormously during the start of 2013. At first, I actually think that the song lacks recall and is bound to be forgotten. However, this song haunted me everywhere - bus, office, malls. A lot of people were bopping to it! That made me appreciate this one brilliant collaboration. Gotta be my favorite Bieber track.

Debut Date: June 8, 2013
Weeks on Chart: 12 Weeks
Peak Position: #01[3]
The most interesting (and my favorite) collaboration for 2013. Being known for their songwriting skills that spearheaded multiple successful singles, seeing these two acts collaborate together for a single song is definitely something everyone should look forward to. And voila, Taylor and Ed did not disappoint by delivering one of the best country/folk hits of 2013. BTW, the music video is adorable!
