Bastille announces album details, release date on Capital FM
Bastille just sat down in the Capital FM studios to chat about their new album. The highlights of the interview are below.
I (Interviewer): Hello, and welcome in the lovely guys of Bastille! *audience applauds*
B (Bastille): Thanks, it's great to be here!
I: We haven't seen you around much lately. What have you been up to?
B: We've been prepping our new album. The rest of the time, we've just been having fun and hanging out. It's so nice to not be on a schedule and just roam freely in the city. Too bad that also meant spending $2,000 in one day on random Christmas presents
I: That's awesome! It's nice you're getting into the holiday spirit. What's your release plan for the upcoming era?
B: We haven't decided which songs will be released yet, but we can say that our next track will go on pre-order next week and will be available December 28th along with the album pre-order. We will release two countdown singles the next week, and our third single will be released along with the album on January 11th. We're excited!
I: That's awesome to hear! Any promo scheduled?
B: Definitely. We'll be promoting a lot next week, we'll be going lots of places.
I: Great! Thanks Bastille for coming in the studio!
B: Our pleasure
(btw X/O/X/O (I know you're Donatella now but still ) and Tigerlily, can you please pretend I didn't buy radio bullets this week and I'll save them until next week? I want them to affect my chart position, not have them get me closer to getting out of last place )

Bastille performs at Taylor Swift's birthday party
Bastille just performed live at Taylor Swift's 24th birthday party, along with Taylor herself! They performed their new single, "Maybe It's Alright", "Of The Night", a special version of "Pompeii" with Swift, and a special 'Happy Birthday' to Taylor.
They opened the set by dancing around and singing a fun renedition of the classic "Happy Birthday" song with a synthesizer, strings, and a guitar to accompany Dan Smith's energetic vocals. They then played their hit single 'Of The Night', a mashup of "Rhythm Is A Dancer" by Snap! and "Rhythm Of The Night" by Corona, both 90's dance hits. They sang the song with pizzazz and also threw in a couple special 'happy birthday' lines. They moved on to an upbeat remix of their new single "Maybe It's Alright", changing it to "It's Alright" for the jolly occasion. At the end of the performance, Swift herself came up and sung their breakout hit, 'Pompeii', along with them.

Entertainment Weekly reviews Bastille's & Sub Focus's set
Not being the biggest electronic music fan in the world, I was originally uninterested in Sub Focus's upcoming presence at the world-famous London club Ministry Of Sound. But then Bastille joined, and in a moment of shock wondering how the heck they would pull this off, I had to go see for myself. I picked up the phone as quickly as I could and ordered tickets. And they certainly didn't disappoint. The place was packed, but even through the screaming fans I heard Dan's wonderful voice, Sub Focus's masterful production, and even Woody's amazing violin playing. Definitely an event worth a review, easily my favorite set ever played at MoS. There were some issues (like $10 beer and overpriced merchandise) but that was not the focal point of this amazing set. It was their talent.
Highlights:
Tidal Wave - Dan slayed it. Literally.
Cry For You - They turned some teeny-bopper eurodance song into a meaningful fun song that had so many strengths.

Bastille does Q&A on ATRL; crashes website
Bastille recently did a special fan Q&A on the popular music forum ATRL, encouraging fans to sign up and ask the band some questions. Unfortunately, the website payed a price. Due to the 1,400 new members who signed up to participate, the site could not handle the heavy traffic due to its lame ass server. While the website went up & down over the 4 hour Q&A period, some question were able to be answered. The highlights are below.
@yourfavefan: Do you like Ke$ha? Bastille: Yes, we do. Dan and Woody's favorite song of hers is Crazy Kids
@Nicole: Isn't Beyonce's new album amazing? Bastille: Yeah, we love it! Definitely an inspiration, at least video-wise for our new work.
@mathboy9 : What's your next album like? Bastille: It's moody and dark, but there is definitely some fun tracks to jam to also.

Christina is interviewed by KIIS FM
The singer went today on the radio for a short interview about her newest album Pop Bible and her single Freedom
I: Christina, nice to meet you
C: Hello!
I: Freedom so on top in so many places. How did you?
C: I don't know, I worked hard and I tried to get that #1 I guess
I: Pop Bible, hmm? How did you come with this
C: It's obviously a joke, but ofc it's the album of the millenium too. So you'll have to wait and see xoxo
I: . What about Something Something?
C: We're kinda thinking to release that as the second single. It is a very fun song, you'll like it.
I: Okay X. Thank you for coming.
C: Thank you for having me.

Christina performs in Santo's Party House
Christina visited one of the best clubs of New York last night. The singer danced and sang all night and eventually got drunk too. The people there said that she is surely a massive party girl and that they enjoyed the time spent with her.
The singer also performed her newest single Freedom there. The performance was a very sexy one in a room filled with dancers. Everyone was singing and bopping to the song. The performance went viral later.

Christina Aguilera looking smoking hot at Taylor's party. Shades Taylor
Christina Aguilera looked amazing last night at Taylor's birthday party. As everyone knows, Christina blocked Taylor from reaching the #1 spot at the midweek chart. Christina bought Taylor a present which contained: her newest single Freedom, a copy of her previous album "Crying From The Bottom Of Your Heart", a Popcorn bucket and a card. In the card it was wrote: "This is real music dear. Get a career soon xoxo".
The singer also sang her newest hit Freedom in front of Taylor. She also said: "Happy Birthday Tay. May your record sell in the end, unless it is blocked by me. The singer got shaded later on twitter and the fans accused her of fighting Taylor.
