On a side note, glad I didn't use some of the songs I planned on using before and stuck with my original one because I see some songs on some trinities that I was going to use. No repetitions this time around!
Hungover - Ke$ha
Have you ever wondered what the downside to partying is? Well, it's a hangover or being hungover after the party has been long over. Ke$ha is at the bottom of the bottle and she is recovering from pervious night. She got her heart broken like "the bottles on the floor" and she is just trying to figure out does any of it really matter or is she "just hungover"? She is experiencing so many mixed emotions as she comes down from her high, and doesn't know where to turn. She doesn't know if she is really hung up on some guy or if she is just drunk. The song really does give you the thought does anything really matter, or are you just hungover?
Goodbye To You - Michelle Branch
Goodbye To You is a song dedicated to anyone who has left or is leaving as a final farewell to them. The point of any releationship where the only thing left to say is "Goodbye To You". Michelle is having a terrible time letting go as she sings "I still get lost in your eyes and it seems that I can't live a day without you" but she won't give in, this is the end and this how it's suppose to end. You may not like how things were left and if you could, you might do things differently but you can't so the only thing you can do is say goodbye.
Quicksand - Britney Spears
The question of every relationship, to hang on or to let go? Well, Britney is "gonna hold on" because she doesn't wanna let go of anything that had to do with the relationship. She sings "I still see your coat hangin' on the door, never let anybody put one there before" she is holding on to so many memories and it's becoming unhealthy for her. She is slowly but surely sinking into the quicksand. She seems aware in the song it's unhealthy to do such things but she doesn't care. She would rather sink then swim as she drowns in the ocean of him. She won't let him go, so as she holds on tighter she starts to sink as anyone would if they were drowning.
My last entry had 2 songs that were used by other members as well and it didn't seem to affect my ranking. I think the judges rate your trinity based on how well the songs go together and don't necessarily care if it's been used by other users. At least I hope it's like that.
