I really believe she has talent tho, I think of her as really great artist, you can't tell she is really good creating melodies and transforming them into music, she's fun and writes really well too. However she isn't the spotlight kinda of girl, and she has this voice that doesn't make her any different, and it's terribly high pitched and out of tune live.
For her to ever do well, she has to stop being Katy Perry and be herself, even if she created Katy Perry herself, that artist she created will never be her.

I agree, sadly. As much as I love her and want her to succeed, the only thing that stands out about her is her hair. Her persona isn't interesting enough to carry her to stardom, and the questions she keeps getting asked in interviews about being a songwriter for Katy Perry aren't really doing her any long-term favors (short-term, perhaps) for her career either. Neither her song nor her voice are unique enough to set her apart from the other pop girls.
