Interesting article:
Although Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera have put their rivalry aside recently. (Spears sent Aguilera a wedding gift and Aguilera sent gifts for the birth of Spears' two sons), since the beginning of their careers there has been comparisons.
In Dec. 2003, Christina had this to say about Britney Spears after performing together at the 2003 MTV VMA's in Blender:
"I wanted to reach out to her, because I feel she needs somebody in her life right now to help guide her....Well, I feel I've grown a lot this year, and we did used to be friends once, after all. She seems to me like a lost little girl, someone who desperately needs guidance. But who know - maybe I'm not the right person to offer it..."
Spears responded, "A lost girl? I think it's probably the other way around."
Now let's compare these two "artists" since that VMA performance:
Recordings
Aguilera: #1 album "Back to Basics", #6 "Aint No Other Man"; #19 "Hurt"; duets with Herbie Hancock, Andrea Bocelli, P. Diddy, Tony Bennett
Spears: #1 album "In the Zone", #9 "Toxic"; #15 "Everytime"; duet with Kevin Federline
Winner: Aguilera. She has the most recent chart-topping hits and more high profile duets than Spears who hasn't had a hit since 2004.
Personal Life
Aguilera: happily married
Spears: married and divorced twice, 2 children, in and out of rehab
Winner: Aguilera. She enjoys "Naked Sundays" with her new husband while Spears (acting strangely) is photographed everywhere in L.A. but at home with her children.
Appearance and Fashion
Aguilera: once again sporting platinum blonde locks and praised for bring back Old Hollywood Glamor
Spears: shaves head and photographed wearing no underwear
Winner: Aguilera. Sporting a retro style, she sings about a man who makes "her panties drop" while Spears is caught without any panties.
I think it's safe to say that Christina was telling the truth and wasn't intending to fuel her rivalry with Britney.

She's the fifth highest mover - all the others are in the top 20, which is good news for Candyman. Candyman is gaining in spins faster than some of the biggest songs on the chart.

candyman is beginning to take off in downloads outside of US too!:
#45 in UK (wasn´t in top 100 two days ago!)
#33 in Canada
#59 in Australia
and still #19 in USA!

Seriously? You're such a grown-up. The person who made this just uses the worst Britney facts and the best Christina facts - especially considering Britney isn't promoting anything since 2004. :-/ And look at the stupid duets part: I bet Christina would KILL all these ones she has work with to record something with Madonna. 
P.S.: Why didn't you mention hits and sales worldwide (or even only in the US) for ITZ and B2B? Oh my, I don't know why some Aguilera freaks DARE to complain about some Britney fans.

..well it´s a really cool song, her thing with the 20´s are really there, but it wouldn´t work at all as a single, she´s done as pop/mainstream artist then...but, what the hell...i´m not sure that i would be really sad if she was actually, if you know what i mean?

Hurt was a huge worldwite hit, peaking at #4. It still is seeing great success in countries but it's obviously done in US and UK now.
