Because performing at the AMAs, SNL, and getting a #1 single with 200-300m AI each time is not heavy promotion. Please.

Gaga, Britney, and Bey stans have every right to drag Katy for these #s but I see no reason why Rih stans are getting so cocky when they fave is in the same boat when it comes to weak first week sales despite massive promotion and radio airplay.

The only promotion Unapologetic had was 777tour, Victoria Secret, SNL and opened w 238 that is not massive in comparison to a radio deal, tv commercial, closing award show performance, iTunes performance, late night talk shows, a Prism truck and cabs driving around, and i'm sure she has a whole bunch of other things lined up.
