It look so bad on the Grammy's half. No offense to Taylor Swift but Mean really isn't that strong of a song and probably one of her weakest to date. Mama's Song may of not been commercially successful but it's one of her best performances to date and it shines her vocals. The only artist that I wouldn't mind winning over Carrie is Martina but we all know the Grammys hate Martina more than they hate Carrie.

I know but the Grammy's tend to just give the awards to those who were most successful, not those who actually released the best song in terms of quality. Mama's Song yes the lyrics are awful but she still manages to shine her vocals. Taylor if anything should take the songwriting award home, Best Country Song. Unfortunately though she'll most likely take both further making delusional stans on this forum think she's better then Carrie.

You are so right on that, i'm sure even if Britney would make a song with bey or celine vocals that would smash the charts, she'd still be' snubbed

I never said you bashed Taylor... Please don't throw in false claims or re-read. That's fine, everyone has their own views on who should win what or not. We can potentially say it for whoever is nominated. If Mean does win, then enough of those 13,000 Grammy voters thought it was good enough to win. Besides, Mean is the song that got back at the critics after her terrible Grammy performance.
