Okay, maybe not total calm, but the top of the Blokk has mellowed out quite a bit this week. Does this mean that Dead by Sunrise is #1 for two weeks in a row, though? Plus, there's a big debut in the top ten, a certain top 10 song takes a huge tumble out, and, no, #13 is not a typo. That is exactly what it looks like.
Week of December 4th, 2009
Lenny Kravitz - Fly Away
I'd like to thank Joe Millionaire, JGib's Otters, Ren and Stimpy, I Want To Be A Basket Case, Raffy Taffy, Rotisserie Baseball Network, A Rock Berbe, FOUR MORE MOB MEMBERS ARE OUT, and Cat Caillat for commenting, numbering, whatevering.
If you really have a qualm with Demi Lovato debuting on the Blokk, believing that she's not "rock enough", by all means, I'll listen, but I'm still making the argument that that song is more "rokk" than most of the music currently out today. Just listen to the song before you make the argument that she's not "rock enough". Besides, the song is awesome, anyway.
Next week, Dead by Sunrise goes for week number three at the top. Can "Let Down" continue to hold off Julian Casablancas, or can he get to #1 "Out of the Blue", or could one of the other rising songs take a shot at the top? I can tell you that, no matter what happens, it will be an exciting Blokk next week.
EDIT: But there IS a typo to be found. Look at "#5". It's another #4. This will be rectified next week. Promise.
