Jennifer Lopez' fame is VERY undervalued on this site. Which is understandable if you check her album sale receipts and try to remember the last time she had a hit before On The Floor but she's still really famous for some reason.
Lopez is a celebrity in the truest sense of the word. As formidable as some of her achievements have been, she's at least as well known for her brief engagement to Ben Affleck and her memorable posterior. It's fitting then that her latest incarnation is in reality TV, as a host on American Idol. The gig reportedly pays $12 million.
Jennifer gets paid a certain amount whether her movie flops or not. Most actors are not paid according to the gross of their movie. the gross of their movies can devalue their oay for the next movie they do though.
