Cipes and the People "Conscious Revolution"
This CD is good, quality music. Some stand out tracks...
"Rescue" ft. Jesse McCartney
"Fly"
"Slip and Slide"
Actually those are my top three tracks on the CD. But there is a lot of other good ones, but those are the top three stand out ones. Fly starts off with something on the lines of Maroon 5's "She Will Be Loved" then it slowly it drifts into a 90's song, like from Savage Garden or something. If you hear it, you'll recognize it automatically.
Slip and Slide is really catchy. It has a jamician feel to it and it's just feel good music. I really can't say much more, but it's something good to jam too. It has a bit of a rock vibe/feel to it. AMAZING!
I already told my review of Rescue. It has Jesse McCartney, one of my favorite singers of all time. It's a good track, I like the carnival type music in it. Or horns. Haha.
One Love reminds me of a Gorillaz song, where they add some rapper (I think) in it and it's decent. This is a CD worth checking out. Every song will grow on you and it's good. Actually after it hearing it again, it reminds me of Juvenile.
I bought this CD at random, only hearing one song from it, and I didn't even know who they were. But now I'm a fan. They are now in the 2K on Last.fm
That's about it. I might post more reviews of the tracks later. But they all have a great influence of "other genres" on there. I give this album a 8-9/10 so far.
