No, i'm actually for it. There's only one problem. For my personal interest, we have enough hip-hop countdowns as it is (that don't mean i'm trashing that though). I'd go with something like this:

Monday:All R&b/hip-hop (it would work)
Tuesday:All Rock
Wednesday:All Pop
Thursday:International Flavor (and I don't mean reggaeton artists, I mean actual international artists)
Friday:The best of them all

Yeah, it might work.

As far as TRL taking a break, I don't mind taking a break from seeing the countdown.

Beyonce falls? Then there I was thinking that everyone would get brainwashed by hotass videos that lack no other qualities.

I hope Fergie can stay in the Top 10. Glamorous is the best song on the c/d for now.

I hope Hilary Duff retires and Avril falls off. But with the break there will be no retirement for Hilary.

I never thought about that. I actually really like that idea! I agree with you that the c/d is really boring. The same mainstream artists are hoarding the Top 5 (don't get me wrong, I really like Nelly Furtado and FOB) and the same songs have been fighting to get into the Top 10 for a month.

Again, kudos on the idea!

These people suck ass. Loyal fans try to do them a favor by supporting them, but if they go on vacation for 2 weeks, we're not going to.

They could be going away to discuss the future of TRL and to see what they can come up with or they could be re-doing the studio, remember when they took off 2 weeks in August of 2005 to re-do the studio.

Most likely they're doing the studio over. they do it every August and May. But thing is, it's April so I'm not sure. They change in August for the Fall season, then May for the Summer season.

And this will happen to Justin,Beyonce,Fergie and J-Lo too (so pity for those videos can't RETIRE!!! >< those videos ran 21-30 days)

Or if those videos won't be OUT,they will be replaced by NEW videos of the singers >< I'm not sure if Beyonce,Hilary,Nelly Furtado have NEW ones

Christina has released all her singles on BTB every four months ie. June, October, February so it will probably be in June/July

I was just listening to XM's 20on20 and Nelly Furtado was #1 again with SIR
(when I listen to XM's somehow SIR is always at number 1)
What do you think - are you annoyed from this song?

Oh and TRL must not be cancelled - it's my favorite show in television history
