yeah, no. Look at the nominees, thanks.
Nicki is just salty that Anaconda was quickly forgotten and snubbed. It happens to everyone in the music industry. You'd think after busting her ass in it for so long she would have gotten used to things not always going her way.
Nicki deserves to be dragged for being foolish and twisting a bunch of different arguments to benefit her own agenda of TRYING (and FAILING) to make herself look like a victim for being snubbed by the VMA's even though she was CLEARLY nominated for other videos
Taylor did very little wrong here if I'm being mother ****ing honest, EVERYONE thought that tweet was directed towards Taylor and Nicki was favoriting a bunch of shade and stuff. Taylor just responded straight up instead of skirting around it like Minaj did with her backtracking
They weren't even TALKING about race until after Taylor responded and the Ryan Seacrest thing came up so please, I don't want to hear anything about Taylor's white privilege because it's completely irrelevant to the point here.
People need to get a grip. Nicki is just stupid here.

I hope Nicki gets down and dirty. She's too smart to act like a doormat just cuz it is Taylor.

Single Ladies also lost categories to Lady Gaga (twice), Green Day (twice), and Britney Spears. So your point about racism may be valid, but don't act it was just Taylor who won over it—or that it's Taylor's fault that She won.

Yes, Nicki has made some strong points BUT shes also calling out white media on their Has while at the same time begging for a spot at their table. Taylor is also white America's sweetheart, shell always be safe. Why don't these black artist go to the Soul Train, BET, or NAACP awards and care as much about them as compared to the other shows. Black artists need to support black media more its embarrassing.

Beyoncé is literally just one person and the way she's treated is in no way representative of how literally all other POC in the industry are treated. Akin to saying racism is over because we now have a black president.
The late, great bluth said it best: "[Beyoncé] found a great niche in becoming the token black woman for white people to praise as a free pass for trashing other black artists"

Stand by your statements and don't be oblivious when you're called out on your opinions. Notice the difference between Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj? Taylor Swift is a strong, opinionated woman -- notice how she replied to Nicki Minaj directly on Twitter and didn't BS around the issue? Conversely, Nicki Minaj is a weak and insecure woman -- notice how she was scared to "name names" and backtracked with a victim-playing reply of "I didn't mention you; I'm innocent" when Taylor Swift confronted her statements head on? It's ironic, because even though an artist like Iggy Azalea is clearly an insecure person, too, at least she has the balls to stand up to her detractors directly and head on, even if it means jeopardizing her career, and at least that's respectable. Nicki Minaj doesn't do that. She just hides behind silly "shading" attempts without being specific, so she can use deniability if she needs to. Weak people do that.
Minaj, grow a backbone and stand by your statements, or just shut the hell up, dude. Taylor Swift is 100% in the right here. The point is, if you have a beef with VMA, then focus on criticizing MTV and the VMAs, not the other nominees that have nothing to do with it. In conclusion, Nicki Minaj is behaving pathetically, childishly, and is portraying herself as a weak, petty person with these unnecessary and unprofessional tweets. And she calls herself a feminist? Yikes.
Furthermore, it's also interesting to note, that now that Nicki Minaj has been called out on her ridiculousness by Taylor Swift (and most recently by Ryan Seacrest), she's playing the race card to try to save face. Because "Anaconda" was so amazing, so spectacular, that if it's not nominated for the award that she wants, then everyone's racist!
Give us a BREAK, man. The whole thing is pathetic.

I enjoy Nicki but this breakdown is a mess. Taylor wasn't wrong to make note.

Honestly, idc. Good.
**** TAYLOR SWIFT. Only reason the white bitch gets so much damn attention is because she feeds off of America's white supremacy and is just another white bitch next door. I don't hate her music and I actually like a few of her songs (Bad Blood) but the bitch needs this drag tbh.

Wtf does any of this have to do with Miley's weight? WB was much bigger and left a giant impact on pop culture. Anaconda paled in comparison. Why is that racist? How is it body shaming? She didn't get a VOTY nom, she needs to stop being a sore loser and move on. And considering that she tweeted this after THIS year's noms and Taylor was the only female there besides Beyonce, it's very reasonable that she thought it was about her. Nicki backtracked.

Nicki could've dragged her but she made a fool of herself.
Low-key hoping that Katy tweets something

I'm actually surprised Taylor is being dragged on Social media 2. Somebody needed to call her out on her BS too so...
Regardless I couldn't care less about either of them but it has spiked my curiosity in this years VMA's. Maybe that's what they wanted

As far as the celeb world goes, can you honestly - and objectively - say it doesn't, as of 2015?
