If anything her album sales should be compared with other mainstream pop artists, Adele & JB are basically the only major pop acts that have released an album this year. I think it all depends on how she's gonna handle the album release.

I don't know how you manage to stay this optimistic after all we've been through tbh... well,it may be delusion tho.

If Rihanna had released Anti in March/April it could've been a Rated-R sized era or something, but now the hype is gone, she's got no singles on the radio and the last single was released 5 months ago,so unless she releases a successful single,2/3 weeks before the album is out it's going to underperform massively, if the tour started in April/May it would've been better, since she would have time to actually promote the album, but with the tour starting in February it's a pretty much known fact that once the album is out,a few performances and then it's over, the tour starts,no more promo,no more singles,no more videos(there's no breaks within shows so she would not have time) and the era that was suppossed the be her best turns into her worst.
Sad indeed i mean,if she didn't release any songs, announce the tour, and had waited until she "believed"in the album even if it was on 2017 it would've been better
