Alright, so my valedictorian Bey speech kinda went viral in my town. It was on 3 different newspapers in the area and I got interviewed about it.

It is with great pleasure that I’m able to talk to everyone today: from my fellow classmates to their family and friends. It's a great day as the past and the future merge to meet us here as we reflect and branch off into our different careers and goals. I hope this speech can inspire you to chase your dreams and aspirations regardless of if people say it’s impossible or try to stop you. We can never forget to fight for your dreams as we all move beyond these years at ________. We may be young, but we’re ready to take on this world. As we are all doing this, please remember that you do not have to prove anything to anyone. You only have to follow your heart and concentrate on what you want to say or do in this world, as you RUN your own WORLD. Find that career that you are CRAZY IN LOVE with and go for it! Do not HOLD UP your career plans for someone else, live for you and no one else. Allow yourself the creative FREEDOM to try anything you want to do, as you never know until you try. LISTEN to that voice from deep within and do not let your dreams be pushed aside and turned into someone else’s.

Now I know that several people are going to the armed forces or are going straight into a career as well and that’s great too! You’ve got to do things on your own terms and follow whatever path you have chosen to follow. Do not let others make you feel that you are lesser than those college-bound students, what matters are the life experiences you will gain and what you make of it. As Beyoncé famously says, who needs a degree when you’re SCHOOLIN LIFE? Just don’t stop running until it’s finished and you reach that goal. It’s up to you, the rest of your life is unwritten. So, grab that pen and get to work! This is your chance to do anything you desire and no longer have anything preventing you from going for it. If you dream it, you have to work hard and go on a daily grind until you own it. However, the reality is: sometimes you lose. But what you do after that loss and rejection determines how you’re going to succeed in life. You can either move onto something else and cower at the thought of attempting it again, or you can continue to pursue that passion and fight for that goal no matter how many times you are knocked down. What I ask my class today is: what will you do?

While my classmates ponder this question, there are many people here that I would like to thank for helping me find a love for pursuing a higher education than most and making the most out of my time here. Firstly, I’d like to thank my family for being here today. I’d especially like to parents for pushing me to be successful. They know it’s been incredibly stressful at times but it all turned out to be worth it in the long run when I got my degree. Thank you for giving me the confidence needed to push myself this much. I’d also like to thank my school for doing so much to teach and prepare us for the future: we learned how 1+1 equals 2, we learned how to live life on our own terms, and to cherish every day we have.

In conclusion, I hope that I’ve been able to inspire to pursue your true passions regardless of how “crazy” and “out there” they are. If life serves you lemons, you can easily turn that into something amazing and iconic, like LEMONADE. If you have a goal and aspiration that you want to follow, you've got to get in FORMATION, create a plan, and find a way to make those dreams come true. If anyone tries to stop you, just twirl on those haters and do our own thing. Don’t be SORRY for following your aspirations. There’s only one person you’re going to need to help guide you through your life and it’s yourself. As I’ve experienced with the loss of friends, I’ve come to realize that I only have ME, MYSELF, AND I to support me and my choices, and luckily I will always have myself. You are responsible for your own happiness and no matter who breaks your heart and no matter where you go, you will always have yourself. Your self-worth is determined by you and no one else. You don’t have to depend on someone telling you who you are. You woke up FLAWLESS and you will each remain FLAWLESS each and every day of your life. As you reflect back on your life as the years pass, make sure you can say that you’ve left no regrets and done everything you wanted. Leave your footprint on the sands of time and leave your mark on this world. Give your all, do your best, and bring yourself and others happiness. If you can say you’ve done that, then you will be remembered until the END OF TIME. Never forget that it’s easy to hear the voices of others, and because of that it is often very difficult to hear your own. Every person you meet is going to want something different from you, but the question I want to ask you is: what do you want for yourself?

And to address your other post, Bey is shading the industry herself. Not one hive member should have to use caution when celebrating her success or laughing at her pettiness. They don't do it for us, we're not doing it for them.

I do agree that we shouldn't engage them though. Just have fun celebrating and cackling, whilst also fuming, at her pettiness.
