i do think theyve regressed lyrically tho, but thats again on first listen from what i could catch

Yeah, I think this is their best album yet in terms of production and instrumentation, etc., but I think some of these songs have their most abstract lyrics yet. Ugh, such a good album.
Musically, PCD is by far one of the better female music groups in recent times. Only Destiny's Child & TLC have kinda served better bops. Other girl groups can't compete, especially not Local Aloud. Gurl, "Buttons" & "I Hate This Part" alone destroy careers.

distant past, S/S/W/D, Yuppie Supper and Zero pharaoh were my favs. None are as good as kemosabe for me tho, such a killer melody
PCD their first LP is one of the best pop albums of the last decade. But like pretty much every other Interscope act (Gaga, Lana, Kendrick Lamar, Gwen Stefani, etc.), they fell off hard with their follow-up / 2nd LP.

Kemosabe was great. I definitely see GTH being an album that reveals more of itself over time, whereas the hooks and everything on Arc were pretty immediate.
I'm very curious to see how Justin's new single does on the charts. All this promo/hype on Insta + his loyal fanbase & a VMA performance, he should be able to score his first #1 in the US.
Although, I would enjoy seeing him crash & burn on the charts & in real life more but let's see.
