It's so funny how some tasteless people here on ATRL always write sh*t about Usher even on the Kid Ink song lmao on other blogs/forums people praise Usher and write things like "Usher sound great", "usher just turned this into a hit" "just feeling usher" "kid ink lucky for getting usher on that hit record" "usher is a hitmaker" "kid ink can thank usher for a new hit" etc.

rule nr1: ignore hate/negative comments about Usher on ATRL these are always the same people here or just kids with a horrible music taste.

Atrl likes to act like this is the first time he's done this when it's not. They're probably too young to remember that he used to take his time while making albums and sometimes it would take up to 4 years to hear something new from him. Hopefully the next step is to fire those idiots on his management.

I posted in that thread. I don't really care about him flopping right now with an album release after seeing him flop around during the entire year, I just want new, quality music.

He tried to be very low key, sort of like JT or Beyonce for his release, and it backfired. Let's see what happens. All of his albums minus his debut, My Way and Looking 4 Myself were delayed.

Can we please not compare him to Justin or Beyonce. I don't think he even intended to do that. His management is full of idiots who don't know anything about actually managing someone. The fact that four years ago he was promoting everywhere nonstop is crazy because he barely even promotes anything now. Waiting to perform a new song and premiere the video almost two months after it was released is ridiculous.

I'm not comparing him to either but he definitely went for a low key approach and it backfired. Being a hipster won't help you catch the mainstream. That's like trying to catch lightning in a bottle. Think of it like Nintendo and the Wii, where is Nintendo now? No one cares.

He did the same thing with L4M. Barely promoted during launch week, by only staying in London and didn't give a damn after release. Can't sell albums that way...

Who was it in here that said Ne-yo constantly copies Usher?? Weeeeell, he just released a Dr. Luke song featuring Juicy J today. And if y'all can remember, Usher's "I Don't Mind" tthat features Juicy J was also produced by Dr. Luke.

I think with all these features he's doing and touring that will help create the buzz he need to release the album. Sometimes you got to make people remember you again, i'm not saying that people are not here for usher, but maybe he needs to get in people faces more. I would think him on the voice was enough, but that wasn't the case.

Ne-Yo is truly awful. He used to be a good songwriter and when contemporary R&B was thriving, he had good songs out from 05-07, but eventually he started to become too full of himself with his music. Trying to be too deep for no reason what made the mainstream forget about him and the r&b core base think he's trying too hard.

Nowadays only his diluted crap gets successful. Shame, Miss Independent was a good song.

The VMA was awful and he had like a full month to prepare.. It seems like anytime he over prepares, it gets messed up. He shouldn't hype his performance anymore, he should just go out and do it.
