Same for me. I want to buy a 3DS XL with a Pokémon design, but the Pikachu design was on sale last year here in Europe, so I hope we'll get the Charizard or Eevee design soon. Otherwise I'll just go with the red one

The only problem with the XL for me, is that regular DS games are stretched on the screen.
My friend bought an XL a week ago, and he was playing Black 2 on it. It's stretched out and semi-lags, and that's what is putting me off buying one for now. I'm thinking maybe I'll get a regular 3DS because I have a few (standard) DS games that I don't want hindered by moving to a new console.

My friend bought an XL a week ago, and he was playing Black 2 on it. It's stretched out and semi-lags, and that's what is putting me off buying one for now. I'm thinking maybe I'll get a regular 3DS because I have a few (standard) DS games that I don't want hindered by moving to a new console.

well i still have my DSi, DS lite and normal DS () and i use them to play ds games so i wouldn't care

and yes there is a black charizard 3ds

The XL is to the normal 3DS what the DS Lite was to the normal DS. They've got rid of basically every little flaw the original has + longer battery life, so that's why I'll go with the XL.

You can also set the games on 1:1 pixel mode, but they say it's still slightly larger though, but the best console to play DS games on will always be one of the DS Lites or DSi's
