I'm almost 100% convinced that the original ARTPOP was completely different to the one that we got. It's all her hip's fault tbh. We all know that Gaga is a "perfectionist" so once she had all that free time, she started getting paranoid that ARTPOP wasn't as good as she thought it was, so she ended up writing loads of other songs to put on it instead. The only tracks on the ARTPOP that we got that were most likely on the original one are probably Applause, Aura, G.U.Y. ARTPOP Mary Jane Holland and Gypsy. All the rest were probably written in a few months prior to release or less

On GGD there is an insider who has been right most of the time and he said the she presented ARTPOP to Interscope in late summer 2012 and they rejected it and asked her to do more and new songs.
That's why Partynauseous is produced by Fernando, she worked with him too at first.

Well Gaga said when she was announcing the track list that two songs were cockfighting for the #12 track. People were speculating that it was Brooklyn Nights that got punched out. But Gags said on Twitter it wasn't on ARTPOP because she "needed more time to work on it"

From what I understand, it seemed like they [Gaga’s camp] had a direction they wanted to go in and Kendrick and I had a different direction. It just so happened that it didn’t go through. All parties have to agree. I saw it as a great opportunity for Kendrick to get a record from Gaga but if they can’t make that approval then hey, it can’t go through. But the beat is hot as ****. I promise you.

Does anyone know if there's a remix of applause studio version that is similar to the concept demo, so instead of the normal chorus of "give me the thing that I love.." It's like the demo and is "applause applause" instead as the chorus

I thiiiiink I recall someone saying that Garibay did his own production after Kendrick left but I could be wrong.

Why doesnt she use some old written material with RedOne from 2009 for the new album. It seems like that was her peak as a songwriter( and a litttle of 2010- when she wrote TEOG)
