The fact she can slay in the summer with a ballad like Wide Awake is amazing. Those kind of songs are usually dead in the summer. Some how she is able to turn it into a hit and prove many doubters wrong.

All her songs are summery, even the dark/slow ones. I rediscovered how absolutely perfect Not Like The Movies is, and it actually gets me so sad how beautiful it is, as well as the fact that it won't be remembered compared to the rest of her catalog

Ooh, sorry. That's not what I meant. I agree with you, I think it's the original version of it - It's just that they recently (Well, at least a year after TD came out, before the single release perhaps? It definitely wasn't on there when Teenage Dream was released anyway) registered The One That Got Away separately from In Another Life, so there's obviously some difference. I was just wondering how much Dr Luke and Max Martin actually changed from the demo. Might just be the music that's different, or it could be the entire song. It'd be good to compare them!
"In Another Life" is a better title. I want to hear that demo.
