It's top 10 in Canada this week! #10! Does anybody know why it's a hit here and not in the US?
I've been trying to figure that out too! From what I've seen in the last few years, Canadians are really into their pop and rock music, so maybe that's part of the cause?
Lotus sold 9.422 copies in UK. I am really not in love with this album but it deserves a lot more than that
I got it from Haven forum.
"Christina Aguilera's last album, Bionic, debuted at number one (24,301 sales) in 2010, but slumped the following week to number 29. It was the biggest dip from number one in chart history. She doesn't have to worry about follow-up Lotus doing likewise - it debuts at number 28 (9,422 sales) following the lukewarm reception given to introductory single Your Body, which debuted at number 16 last week and now slips to number 31 (11,035 sales)."
no and NMT came out in may where there was less competition
Not true, NMT came out when E.T, Born This Way, S&M, Rolling in the Deep, Party Rcok Anthem was all dominating. Comparing competition wise, Your Body had the best chance to peak higher than Not Myself Tonight (but didn't).
