Japanese fans start a petition for DSP Media to allow Nicole to stay in KARA

While KARA started their Japanese concert tour on the 8th, their Japanese fans gathered in front of the Yokohama Arena on the 9th to start a fan petition with this topic: 'Assure the continuation of Nicole's activities with KARA.'

Fans who made their way to the arena are actively participating in the petition in hopes of seeing Nicole remain as a KARA member. The petition will be a relay of sorts as it plans to follow KARA throughout their Japanese tour to seven different locations including Yokohama, Fukuoka, Osaka, and Nagoya. After the concert tour is completed, the fans will gather all the signatures they managed to get and deliver them to DSP Media.

One representative said, "Fans understand the part where Nicole decided not to have another exclusive contract with DSP Media. It's just that even if Nicole were to sign an exclusive contract with another agency, we hope that DSP Media will allow her to continue activities as a member of KARA."

In addition, KARA's contract with Universal Music, which is their Japanese distributor, will expire in December so fans are taking this chance to vocalize their thoughts that they will not accept KARA if Nicole is excluded, making it highly likely that a contract renewal with Universal Music or a completely new contract with another company will be very difficult if things do not go their way.

This is really nice of them.

We never got the Sept 2ne1 single and it's looking like we won't be getting the Oct single/album either... I give up on YG and their promotions with 2ne1. I'm ready for the new YG girl group though, I'm gonna stan Jennie Kim hard.

You'll probably be waiting a while since YG keeps switching up their concept and changing the line-up/dropping the most popular members.

I did see that too! I heard that they wanted them to be like the YG-esque SNSD but then they decided 6 members and then 3-4 like 2ne1 but I've lost so much faith in YG anyway so I don't hope for anything from them.

I love how messy is YG is... Nobody knows what he's doing and apparently even the artists don't know more tea... TaeYang is probably crying himself to sleep for a year with his album on loop, saying ONE DAY I WILL PERFORM IT.

TEAM A & TEAM B are playing their whole life on one TV SHOW, the loosing team will probably disband and all the trainees will go on separate companies. If one of them end up in a basic group like B2ST I will not have it especially if it's Mino, Jinwhan, Taeyun, Bobby or LSH. Since I'm sure he'll keep B.I & KSY solo.
