1.- Go to folder "_Installer" inside the main folder you downloaded, then go to "vc" "vc2013" "redist" and install the file in there vcredist_x86.exe
2.- Go back to "_Installer" and now go to "vp6" and run de "vp6.reg" click ok if a dialog box appear.
3.- Now locate your "Origin Games" folder, mine is in Program files(x86), and copy "The Sims 4 Create a Sim Demo" there.
4.- Go to "Game" "Bin" and run TS4CAS.exe and wait a lil' bit

You know.. I just realized that they really should have just called this game The Sims. It's clear they wanted this to be a throwback to the original title but with its own ****. They would have had less flack for it too.

Half of these are completely, utterly stupid.
For example, the public space is uneditable because it's a new feature. We have only ever had it in The Sims 2 Pets for PS2, and it was uneditable then too.
Create-A-Style was removed because of performance. The same bitches that were complaining "oh the Sims 3 doesn't work" or "oh there are no Sims!" or "My clubs are empty!" they have no fixed this problem by removing CASt. CASt meant the game too long unpackaging textures and less time generating Sims.
Open World, on top of that, also meant the game couldn't handle a fair amount of Sims. We still haven open world, however, it's just split up. Also, in The Sims 3, you did hit a loading time when you loaded a neighbours house. You had to watch the house load, and until you clicked on it, it was an empty house. The idea was with The Sims 4, you'd never see a loading textures happening, instead you would get a screen.
Also, with having actual locations, rather than a simple Map, of course you can't edit houses.
They also decided to make every lot flat, after the complaints that you would have to edit the World sometimes, to have a flat lot, because the terrain around the edge would stretch.
There are still 16 Careers, they are just split into Categories. Same amount as The Sims 3. I agree they should have the basics though. But after 3 generations, perhaps we could try something different rather than going to an office job.
--
There are alot of things I agree with, but some of them are just idotic.
"I want them to fix the lag but I don't want to lose major features!!1111" needs to stop.
EA can't help that fact that the majority of users can't run the game they want them too.
They tried going next gen with the Sims 3, and it failed. The game sold less than half of The Sims 2.
If they had spent 300 upgrading to a new laptop, rather than buying every Sims 3 stuff pack and EP, instead of complaining The Sims 3 doesn't work, perhaps The Sims 4 woudn't be so hardware orientated.
The first thing they said about The Sims 4, that it would be able to run perfectly on low-end PC's.

To be fair, a lot of these could be fixed if EA hired decent programmers.

Still excited nonetheless. I actually pre-ordered the damn game so I can **** myself later if I turn out disappointed. The CAS is just soooo good. Definitely the best sims.

Other programmers have actually said that what EA was able to do with The Sims 3 is incredible.
A programmer, who was a fan of Sim City, actually explained why Create-A-Style was removed from a developers point of view, and he doesn't even play The Sims, but he can understand.
SimSupply, and alot of other people who went to Creator Camp, were saying there has been a lot of stuff taken out, but it's been replaced with something new.
So even though we can expect missing features, you can also expect completely brand new ones.
So I thing getting angry over "No Aspirations" . "No Exterminators" etc. is a bit much.
--
It's also hilarious how much stuff was missing from The Sims 3 was missing also, when you look at that list. It's funny how people conveniently forget how much they complained about The Sims 3, since they are defending it now.

People (especially Sims 2 players) should NOT be upset about "no exterminators."
My last Sim got a roach infestation and her memories are literally two pages straight of "roaches!"

And then they would get the flu
That list seems to mention every missing feature, even if it's not apt anymore. Like we don't need Aspirations, they weren't in The Sims 3 either. We moved on.
No I don't want roaches. Gardner's weren't in The Sims 3 base game either.
They should only compare Sims 3 > Sims 4. Sims 3 replaced a lot of those Sims 2 features.
