I have to keep a blog for the class I'm taking this summer and decided to post it yesterday. We just had a meeting and he was raving about it

You know if we took out I Almost Do, Stay Stay Stay, Everything Has Changed, The Lucky One, The Last Time and 22 (Plus delete the 3 bonus tracks from the deluxe edition), Red would be a perfect album. After almost 2 years of Red, I truly believe that this album is her best and worst at the same time.

It's like she tried experimented with sounds/styles she's never tried before and not every experiment worked. But that's OK. She needed time to make mistakes and mess up to learn and be able to get it right next time.

I think this is the best description on Red. Red is so unstable and inconsistent. Some of the songs of this album are her best but unfortunately, some songs are also underwhelming. She also didn't show too much maturity on this album, listen to Stay Stay Stay and Starlight. I hope LP5 will make up for this mistakes.


EDIT: Only delete The Moment I Knew on bonus tracks. Come Back... Be Here and Girl at Home are just fine, especially CB...BH

Not The Last Time though. More like Sad, Beautiful, Tragic should be out. That deserves to go to some lullaby record or some funeral hymns.
