Why are you guys still caring about that GP conversation? Gaga proved she does not care or need them. She continues to deliver concerts, albums and music videos even though people say she lost the crowd.
No offense but there isn't a ruling pop girl at the moment, at least not at the same level of Madonna, Britney, or Gaga. And unless a major tonal shift happens again in music, it'll be that way for quite awhile until the next person explodes.

What I find amusing is that people on here think that the "GP" care enough about pop girls to be loyal or hold grudges.
They like what they like and they ignore what they don't. It only gets complicated because of the media influencing what they're exposed to.
GP still thinks BTWT flopped so hard and didnt sold a ticket. They also think the last shows cancelled because of tickets selling badly. They believe what flop media says. Whole media took side against Gaga because her last album underperformed. Cant blame them tbh, there is nothing else to report because other artists kinda all the same and of course they want hits for their sites.

This is true, but it's because pop music is a non-event right now. No one's bringing anything good to the table-at least, none of the girls are.

Fans that are so fickle I hate equally much as fans that are stuck in 2010 and want her to be like that ALL the time.

Gaga's episode on SNL was great. Too bad she didn't have that much enthusiasm throughout her entire album run (especially during DWUW where she seemed angry, mad, and sad).
so if the GP isn't here for gaga but are here for the pop girls whose latest albums have sold better than artpop, why is gaga playing venues at maximum capacity and the other girls aren't? I mean if album sales are supposed to be indicative of popularity, I would think that the more successful albums' artists would be getting the tour numbers gaga is getting right now... plus crowds of 12,000+ people can't ALL be hardcore dedicated fans

Because people talk rubbish and are delusional.. If the GP weren't here for her ARTPOP wouldnt have gone #1, Applause wouldnt have gone #4 and DWUW #13.

You're talking about a minority within the elusive "GP" who are tuned into pop culture enough to read about this stuff. The average person doesn't care.
