Because she's pretty and sings very well too! She basically carried her group during the first battle when they sang APink's I Don't Know.

but there are like 2365 other PLEDIS girls, and none made an impact, UNTIL Mnet tried to make Nayoung
happen and it worked seeing she's in the top11, she's ugly + boring imo.
