If EXID goes the slower tempo route they better be serving Every Night realness and not some OST mess. I really want them to go back to their I Feel Good sound for at least one comeback.
EXID has some crazy vocalists. They need to shine vocally this era since they've proven they can recycle hits and get those awards but do other things also.
Something A Pink failed but instead gave us a "Japanese" comeback.

If listening to MAMAMOO's first album, Taemin's first album, and LADIES' CODE MYST3RY have made me realize anything, is that K-Pop needs music like this! I'm sick of hearing the same dance, trap, electro **** over and over again; we're finally bringing soul back into the mix!

She's in everything but she won't be actively promoting until the end of Produce 101. And if she makes it in the top 11, she'll promote with the Produce 101 girl group first before properly promoting as a CLC member.
Besides, it sounded nothing like Up & Down "3.0". Sure it retained the new 'signature' EXID sound and style but it didn't actually sound like Up & Down or Ah Yeah. It was way grittier and it didn't even have Solji belting in the chorus (smh).
Here's hoping when they do split them up into their respective subunits, there will be more time for each of the girls to shine! Cheng Xiao will get her chance in the Wonder Unit, and Exy will outshine the other two in the Sweet Unit!
