LOVATO GOES UP FOR PRE-ORDER!



After an appearance on Ellen yesterday where Demi announced that her new album "Lovato" will be available for pre-order, the album has finally been uploaded to Itunes this afternoon.

The tracklisting is quite an interesting one with majority of the album being one worded titles and almost every title having a negative, scary or dark title.

Speaking on the nature of the album, Demi said "I didn't even notice how dark the album sounds when you look at the tracklist. The truth is that the album actually is really positive although there are songs that are darker than others. It's an amazing record."

With three collaborations, 15 songs, and an amazing booklet, the album looks like it's going to be one of the best this year.

Producers listed on the album include David Guetta, Red One, Ryan Tedder, VDK, and a host of other producers.

Also, songwriters include Sia, Esther Dean, and VDK. Demi Lovato wrote the majority of the album.

Demi Lovato Does Track By Track of "Lovato"(Part 1)

Just a few minutes after her new album "Lovato" was available for pre-order, Demi Lovato took to Twitter to share a link to her Youtube page of a track by track of the album.

1. Intro/Sinful
Intro is what it is... the intro to the album. It's more or less me talking about why I called it what I called it. The song "Sinful" is a deeply personal and reflective song. You know, I was reading my bible and I just came across the story of Adam and eve again. We have all been sinful since the day they ate that fruit and on this song, I ask myself a lot of questions. And It's highly personal.

2. Critical
This is the single off the album. It was a very fun song and also very personal. I think I have talked about this song enough so by now, you should know what it's all about.

3. Severe (ft. Kendrick Lamar)
Severe is by far one of my best songs off the record simply because it has one of my favorite people ever, Kendrick Lamar, on it. It is a hip hop song and I rap a bit on it but it's mostly Kendrick doing the rapping soooo that. Generally, it is both an aggressive yet powerful song. There is no other sound like this on my discography.

Those were the last 2 things I had as promo. I was gonna do this very elaborate and very over-the-top amazing tour for the Lovato album but then things have come up and I have to put a break on this game. See you guys when I see you.

Ellie Goulding on The Queen Latifah Show (400+)



Ellie Goulding went on The Queen Latifah Show on Saturday for a quick interview and
performance.

QL: Hi Ellie, hwo are you feeling today?
Ellie: I'm fine, I'm a bit tired though. I performanced at a concert and on The Voice
today. I still have three more performances to do today.
QL: How do you think your single Asleep will do this week?
Ellie: I think it'll rise. There's less competition this week. I'm hoping for a Top 3
but I'll probably be #3 or #4. Asleep is very radio friendly but maybe that's not what I
needed. The second single will be completely different so maybe it'll do a bit better.
I can't believe it's only nine more days until the album is released. I'm really excited
and I wanna know what every thinks of it!

QL: Do you prefer the second single over Asleep?
Ellie: Yes, it's more experimental. Asleep was compared to Goodness Gracious and Starry
Eyed but you won't be album to compare the second single to any song in my discography.
It might be my favorite from the album, I'm not sure yet. I'll only reveal which song is
the second single a few days after the album.
QL: Have you shot the music video and single artwork yet?
Ellie: No, the music video will be shot on the 30th and 31st of July, the release date
hasn't been decided yet.

QL: What are your favorite songs right now?
Ellie: Right now I really love Rita Ora's I Will Never Let You Down. I made a cover of it
and put it on my Remix EP for Asleep. I'm still listening to Beyonce's and Lily Allen's
new album. I also love Sia's Chandelier and The Saturdays' What Are You Waiting For?. I
listen to a lot of fun, dance songs right now.
QL: What are your favorite songs on both of those albums?
Ellie: I don't dislike any song from Beyonce but my favorites are Drunk In Love, XO, Rocket,
Blow, Partition and No Angel . From Sheezus I love Our Time, Sheezus, Hard Out Here
and URL Badman.

At the end, Ellie performed an acoustic version of her new single Asleep. She showed off her

Ellie Goulding on Rising Star (300+)



Ellie Goulding went on Rising Star on the 26th of July to perform her new single Asleep,
which will be on her fourth studio album called Gould. The album will be released on the
4th of August along with two promotional singles before it. She brought a special guest with
her for this performance and we went backstage to ask Ellie a few questions before the
performance.

Interviewer: Hi Ellie, are you excited about this performance?
Ellie: Yeah, it's gonna be really fun. This is the first time that I'll have a guest on
the stage. Can't wait to show you who it is!
Interviewer: Will you come back here to sing your second single?
Ellie: Yeah definitely! I love watching Rising Star, I hate it when my favorite contestants
don't make it through.
Interviewer: You recently told us that a song called Last Stand will be on your album, do
you think it'll get released as a single?
Ellie: I think it could, not as the second single but maybe as the fourth or fifth. I really
love that song, it's one of my favorites from the new album.
Interviewer: Good luck with the performance!

When the stage lit up, Calvin Harris was revealed as the special guest. He started playing his
Asleep remix. He was on the right side of the stage and after a twenty second intro, Ellie
walked onto the stage from the left with seven dancers. Ellie went crazy at the energetic
chorus and put a lot of effort into her dancing. The bridge sounded different from the
original remix, meaning that the remix was remixed by Calvin Harris. At the end, balloons
fell from the top of the stage and were passed on into the audience. Everyone clapped
as Ellie left the stage.

After their Total Television Takeover, where they performed at 14 different TV shows (Including Good Morning America, the Today Show, the Talk, Live! with Kelly and Michael, the View, American Idol, the X-Factor, America's Got Talent, the Voice, the Ellen DeGeneres Show, the David Letterman Show, the Jay Leno Show, Late Night with Conan O'Brien and the Late Show with Jimmy Fallon) to perform their latest buzz single, "Free", G.R.L. released a remix EP for the hype-building single. The remix EP features remixes from various mixers, such as Skrillex and Kleerup, while also including a mix of the song produced by Cirkut alone, one of the main producers of the original song.
Also included in the remix EP is the much-praised mix that was performed on the various "Morning" segments of G.R.L.'s Total Television Takeover, which consisted of Good Morning America, the Today Show, the Talk, Live! with Kelly and Michael and the View. This alternate version of the song was listed as the "Greg Kurstin Mix", with Greg Kurstin soley producing the remix of the song. His production work on it was given plenty of praise, up to the point where some said he should've been the main producer of the song. G.R.L. had made a point of hyping the mix of the song when they performed it, and confirmed it would make "Free"'s remix EP, which it did. What did not make the cut of the EP was the first-used version of Kurstin's edit, which remained the way it does on the remix EP up until the final chorus where it returns to the original production of the original song, as this was an experimental demo of the mix chosen by G.R.L. only to perform on Good Morning America.
Another alternate mix of the song included on the remix EP was the "Acoustic" version, which was performed during the "Night" segment of G.R.L.'s Total Television Takeover, which included shows such as the David Letterman Show, the Jay Leno Show, Late Night with Conan O'Brien and the Late Show with Jimmy Fallon. The acoustic version of the song was produced alone by Simone Battle and Lauren Bennett, members of G.R.L. themselves. Battle, during G.R.L.'s "Night" performances, played the piano during the acoustic version, while Bennett played the guitar, which she admitted she was still learning how to play despite her sounding wonderful during the live performances and even now in the studio version of the song. Only the piano and the guitar are present, production-wise, in the acoustic version, and it was clear this was an entirely different recording session (similar to the Greg Kurstin mix) as the girls' voices were different, more passionate, than they were on the studio version of the song.

Ellie Goulding performs Asleep at Burger King, Walmart and local church (300+)



Ellie stopped at three huge promo spots to promote her new single Asleep. She got out of a
black limo and went into Burger King. Everyone inside looked shocked when they saw her.
Ellie ordered a drink and stood up on a table. Everyone was quiet as she sang Asleep without
a microphone. The instrumental was played on her phone and when the chorus started, she
jumped from one table to another. She stood on someone's burger but they didn't mind. One
of the workers said "Excuse me miss, you're going to have to pay for that burger."
He was ignored and Ellie continued singing. Another worker said "Miss, your order is up."
Ellie picked up the drink as the final chorus began. She sprayed the Coca Cola all over
the everyone through the straw and they cheered.



The next promo spot that Ellie visited was Walmart. She went in using a back door and hooked
up her microphone. She stood in the middle of the shop and said "Can I have your attention
please? I'm here to sing my single Asleep, buy the song on iTunes, or you can buy the physical
edition right here, I'll sign it for you " She started singing the song and taking
all the other flop singles and albums off the shelf. When she was done with that, she jumped on
a bed that cost over a thousand dollars. The sheets were covered with mud now. When she finished,
people were lined up, waiting for her to sign an autograph on the physical edition of Asleep.



The last place Ellie went to was a local church. She interrupted their mass and took the microphone
from the priest. "Yo let's have some fun in here, sing along with me, you all probably know the
words since this song it so popular". Ellie sang the song and everyone looked confused. Only
the elderly people knew the lyrics so they sang with her.
