im confused.... This certain place Where the horses men Live is the same place Where the other doctor lives? I mean Where Jesus Lives?
i hated the season final
I finally just watched the finale and I'm FUMING, I'm surprised I didn't see that coming, I should've known they would end it on a cheap cliffhanger like that. I know who dies from reading it as a comic spoiler ages ago, but I thought they were going to choose someone else. They're really going to keep everyone waiting like that. I would hope they end up choosing someone different so the wait is actually worth it, but I'm not even going to be surprised if it's the same person.
It was a good episode, although these past few episodes have kind of felt like a completely different show and like they're moving too fast for how the rest of the season was paced. I can't even keep track of why half the people are doing what they're doing/leaving/etc. Meh... thank god we have FTWD.

Not the TV show with the most annoying characters ever.

I just watched the season finale and I'm almost having a meltdown.
i'm soooooooo pissed, i liked the episode cause you knew it was building to something big but then to end with a cliffhanger is really jumping the shark.
i mean do they really expect this not to leak???? and how will they edit trailers? with the alexandria people only? they only did it for the ratings and everyone will be back but it's annoying as ****.
all the emotional buildup for the last 15 minutes are now wasted. are they just gonna open with that again in the first episode? urgh. i can already see it: they will show flashbacks of all these people that are in danger one by one and by the end of the episode we will see who dies.
of course they could pay the actor that dies for the half season and take him to the set just to chill and even shoot some fake shots to include in the trailers but i doubt they'd put so much money to waste? who knows.
all i know is that they ****ed it up cause everyone is now fuming or focusing on who was killed instead of praising an iconic negan introduction that now failed.
When you're a parent, your kid might have a tantrum for a lot of different reasons and you still have to love them and try to do right by them. I do want to do right by this audience. I hope to win back or assuage some of the anger.

I can see that people that choose to look at it cynically, it’s like that we were trying to trick in some way, but really I wanted the audience to go through an emotional experience...

We will see stories from his (talking about Negan which means boring Governor type filler episodes) perspective.
Honestly the show is going down the toilet now. Obviously it's still going to be a huge ratings magnet, but creatively, it's just not as good and i can only see it going downhill from here

SOME of them are annoying but at least the concept is still fresh. This season has been NOTHING but cheap tricks and they're finally getting the widespread backlash they deserve.
^^ sorry, no. The entirety of season 6 was leading up to that point and they did us, and the comics, wrong. It could've been a shocking and emotional closing shot had they revealed who it was and used as much gore as in the comics, but instead went for something that guarantees huge ratings for the season 7 premiere while losing every bit of integrity the show had left.
Scott Gimple needs to go. The way he tried to justify the cliffhanger is pathetic.
