Did you even read my entire post...? And what about Mariah, Whitney and Janet?

No, I just saw that you posted and took my best guess as to what it was about.
___
I think the current generation of girls have been inspired more by Britney than the three you mentioned, but obviously Mariah, Whitney, and Janet have left their mark too.

Britney's Metacritic score is a travesty. Britney really did open doors in that regard. She was trashed by critics for making her transition to a more mature sound, but now people like Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez are praised for it.

Yeah, paint me as some sort of villain just because I said those artists aren't influenced by Britney, which is most likely true.
Mariah influenced Britney (during her early days), Adele, Beyonce, Ariana, Katy, Christina - all major A-list pop stars, and whether it be her as a vocalist or her as a songwriter.
Janet influenced Britney, Beyonce, Ciara, Missy, Tinashe - major stars aside from Tinashe.
Britney has influenced Selena, Miley, Tinashe - you see where this is going? She has impact on the newer generation, but it isn't (and they aren't) as huge.

Critics judged her on her image/personal life rather than the music those days, which is kind of pathetic.

Adele, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Katy, etc. have all talked about how Britney inspired them. And Selena and Miley are emerging as two of the biggest forces in pop right now. A simple Google search...

Are you confusing adoration and inspiration? When has Adele said Britney inspired her as an artist? Never. Do you see any similarities between Adele and Britney as artists? No, you do not. Rihanna has never spoken about Britney as an inspiration/influence in terms of music/artistry, and the same goes for Katy Perry. Katy didn't even listen to pop music until she hit her mid-20s. But I do see one similarity between Britney and Katy, and it is the fact that they both portrayed the fun, bubblegum pop girl image.

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE OFFICE OF Miss Korea
From this day forth, ATRL poster and Britney Spears base regular Miss Korea has announced that all mentions of the album "Britney Jean" from this day forth will be halted. "Work Bitch" will remain the only acknowledgement of the aforementioned album and its associated era. This has been an executive decision and is designed to help further the advancement of Britney Spears, the artist, the singer, the dancer, the songwriter, the entertainer, the Las Vegas headliner and mother of two, and her forthcoming sixth studio LP, tentatively titled "Let's Not Talk About the Last **** Fest".
Thank you.

Why do you think Adele wanted to work with Max Martin on 25? It was because she was inspired by big pop hits like Britney's early hits and Taylor Swift's recent hits from 1989. Adele said recently that she wishes she could do big pop songs but knows that that isn't her lane. Katy also ran to Max Martin for her music and literally copied Britney's denim outfit at the VMAs. I'm not even going to get into Lady Gaga because there are just countless examples.

"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."

Pretending Britney Jean doesn't exist isn't a good look.

The past is where Blackout and In the Zone are, so maybe she should be going that way.
