I can't see how Forbes really matters in the grand scheme of things.
It's just another avenue to measure a celebrity's worth.
Instead of chart #s, golden plaques/statuettes, reviews, and sales figures, they put a dollar amount on that celeb.
Forbes is completely unreliable, it's wild guesses and estimations. No different from ATRL calculating how much tours will earn
When I calculated how much the DWT would gross at the beginning of the european leg, I predicted 140M, and it grossed exactly that. I doubt Forbes has people as smart as me working for them though (just read their articles )
