MIAMTEC is a great album.

It has amazing urban throwback songs, great uptempos, amazing AC ballads - it has classic Mariah and it has some new influences - and the songs are good throughout. I don't see how that album can be trashed. It would have smashed so hard 10 years ago.

When the next MC discography rate happens in 10 years and MIAM tracks still last so long, what will the haters have to say when they don't have the "It's recent!" excuse?

How such poetic lyrics ended up on that s***ty production is beyond me.
I'll read the lyrics as a poem but wouldn't dare play that song again.
Whenever You Call is the best song on Butterfly the lack of taste in this thread though.

Exactly. It has a quality reminiscent to her pre-Rainbow albums because you can tell the material really MEANS something to her. It is a carefully crafted work.
