I blame Emma Watson, Taylor Swift and partly the Beyst for making feminism so blase now. Everyone's so passe about it. 'Oh yeah, I think men and women should be equal! Feminism!!!'

STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS... Sometimes fun, often fine. It had a lot to set up, and I suspect Ep 8 will be able to do more with less.
My main problem with Joanne these days is how she talks about how she's too talented and smart for people to care about her looks etc etc and then goes and gets work done.
Either be for it or against it.
I don't really notice anything other than the occasional face taping and lip injections? She hasn't made any permanent alterations to her face, so it's nothing more than your average vanity most of us have about our appearance.
You'd think with all this plastic surgery Gaga has done she would just go ahead and get the nosejob. Her nose doesn't fit her face. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but if you're going to change everything else, why avoid the the elephant in the room?
It does fit her face, it doesn't fit her look. She's an okay-looking Italian NYC girl but she goes for over-the-top GLAM and her features are not delicate/versatile enough to pull it off

It's not an energizing movement anymore.
I ask this out of genuine curiosity, but what's wrong with that? I know the feminism movement has ways to go, but what's wrong with the idea of it being a casual thought in people's everyday lives rather than some war mission?
Wtf is face tape anyways? Like what is the point? What is she taping?
She puts tapes at the edges of her face (near the hairline) & strings them together behind her head. It tightens her face. It's why her eyes look stretched sometimes. In all honesty, I'm shocked Madge never started doing it.
Alexz tell me, why is Britney so popular with the Hispanics?
I think she seems nice and authentic. Her early style of pop sounded a bit like Magneto and those cheesy bands that dominated Latinamerica (namely Overprotected, her biggest hit). And well, she's a star, a legend.

Because it hardly has any meaning anymore. It's not taken seriously. Being a feminist used to mean actually having something to say. Doing something. It wasn't just a cute thing you put in your twitter bio.
As my mother said, "Well, I think the dictionary is not bad, you know: the belief in the full social, economic, and political equality of women and men. I would just add "and doing something about it."
I'm going with my homo manager to Star Wars on Fri and he's been fangirling over it nonstop. Like he's genuinely panicking that it's gonna suck. Also did not know that Eps I-III were so hated, omg especially Phantom Menace, which I remember loving so much growing up Haven't seen any of them in a long ass time

Everyone nowadays is an actress, model, or an activist. None of those professions are what they were in the age of social media and reality TV.

Phantom Menace is legitimately one of the worst blockbuster hits ever. It's SO bad and the amount of plotholes it has I liked it as a kid too, but I liked Jar Jar, kids opinions can't be trusted!
