I'm scared.

I was doing yard work and removing dead plants in the front of my house, and I disturbed a bunny nest.den(?) in the ground next to one of the plants I took out. Like four of five bunnies ran out in all different directions. There's one about 10 feet away from the nest in the area where I was taking out plants...

it's been there for about 6 hours now...just sitting there, I went out and checked on it periodically but it's 10 pm now.
Another baby bunny was in the front lawn and I went inside for 5 minutes and it scurried away.
I hope they're all near the nest. I saw the mother (or I think it was the mother) in the backyard, so I tried to "move her" to the front yard, by walking near her (I wasn't trying to catch her or anything, just directing her where to run) but i failed and she ran to the neighbors yard

I read online that the mother comes to the nest only for like 5 minutes a day at night....I went out a half hour ago at around 9:30 pm. and the one baby bunny near the nest is still sitting there.

I hope the mom comes back soon, online they said the mother will call them and either fix the nest or move to another one.

Ugh. I feel bad. Someone say something optimistic
