Azealia + Rita on X Factor UK
Both Azealia and Rita appeared on X Factor UK today to promote their new R&B duet "Time to Hop Off" Due to the huge performance on the largest talent show in the UK, Time to Hop Off gained a significant 25% increase in sales. Along with this, Time to Hop Off moved up 2 spots on iTunes. The performance done by Rita and Azealia attracted great social media attention garnering hundreds of thousands of tweets about the performance. During commercial breaks, the first commercial aired during each break was Azealia's Valentino spot. After the performance aired X Factor UK uploaded the performance on YouTube.
Azealia and Rita both wore Valentino for the performance of Time to Hop Off. Azealia had on golden pants made of thousands of very small chains. Along with this, Azealia had on a matching top made of chains as well. With a cleopatra bang and gold eye makeup, the entire performance was themed after gold and the middle east. Rita had on gold eyemakeup that was thick and went from one side of her face to the other. Rita had her hair pulled back in a bun held together by golden bobby pins. With a golden bathing suit bottom and chiffon gold pants and a chain link gold top, Rita looked like she robbed a jewelry store of its gold.
On stage were tall columns painted gold. Along with this, male dancers stood on stage shirtless fully body painted gold. Behind Rita and Azealia were LED screens displaying the eye of providence etched out in gold. At the start of the performance, all that was heard is the stomps of feet as Azealia and Rita are being carried on stage from opposite ends sitting on thrones carried by muscular men spray painted gold. As Rita and Azealia are lowered, the crowd goes wild. With a powerful stance and after 5 seconds of the crowd screaming, the beat comes in and Azealia and Rita dance their hearts out and sing throughout the performance in perfect key. The performance ended up being praised throughout the world as "Azealia's best" After the performance, Azealia and Rita then announced that they'll premier their music video for Time to Hop Off tomorrow night. Along with this, everyone who called in to vote on tonight's show got a free copy of Time to Hop Off.

Azealia on Britain's Got Talent
Lacking her partner Rita, Azealia Banks appeared on Britain's Got Talent to perform her new single Time to Hop Off. The performance was uploaded onto Azealia's Vevo account after it aired. In the UK, Time to Hop Off raised itself to number one immediately after the performance aired on Britain's Got Talent. In between commercial breaks, like X Factor UK, commercials of Azealia's Valentino campaign aired during each break. Azealia's performance on Britain's Got Talent was sponsered by the great company, Walmart.
For Azealia's performance she wore a Valentino gray denim catsuit with a slit in the middle. Around Azealia's waist was a large shiny silver belt. On her feet were knee high laced up matching denim boots. Azealia's long green weave was covered by a hood she was wearing that was attached to her catsuit. Her hair went down to her midback and was curly. Azealia also had on sunglasses that she ended up removing mid performance.
At the start of the performance Azealia stood in an abandoned elevator that was on stage. Striking a pose and remaining in it, Azealia stood still and did not move a muscle. Still not moving a muscle, the elevator immediately dropped. WIth this, 50 or so dancers emerge from the darkness of the stage that was behind the elevator. Azealia still in her pose, she lifts the mic and begins to sing Time to Hop Off and dance along with the creepily dressed dancers. With each dancer in synch with the music, the performance was perfect and no one missed a beat. After the performance, Azealia gave a bow to the crowd and then told everyone to watch her video that is released tomorrow for Time to Hop Off. Along with this, Azealia said that the first 10,000 callers tonight for voting would get a free copy of Time to Hop Off's Remix EP.

KISS FM UK
(Interview & 'Loverboy' Performance)
Though Taylor Swift is currently in South America on her Electric Princess Tour, a stadium tour that will be traveling all around the word in support of her upcoming album 'Electric Princess', the singer-songwriter of pop was available to phone in and give an interview to Kiss FM UK, one of the United Kingdom's most listened to radio stations. Along with the phone call came a live feed of Taylor as she performed her smash single 'Loverboy' via satellite. The performance was then shortly uploaded to Kiss FM's official website where fans were allowed to stream it and such. The performance quickly found it's way to Kiss FM UK's official YouTube where it then garnered much attention for Taylor's delivery vocally and emotionally.
"I think the weirdest thing about an album is that it's really quick to record. It's just the writing process and preparing process that takes so long" Taylor told Kiss FM. "I mean this record is the quickest once I've ever written. I wrote it in about four months. I wrote about thirty six songs a month. Thirty six is quite many and I like to at least give myself four months to see what I can come up with. That's one hundred forty four songs written for one album. Having to choose between those can take forever." Asked about her upcoming album's possible commercial success Taylor relied gratefully. "I've been really happy with the response my last records have received. It's been very constant I must say so myself. Although with this album I would love commercial success, I'm not going to totally melt down just because it wasn't as successful as my last one. That's really not just who I am as a person or an artist. I'd be proud of the record just got out to the fans who enjoyed it. That's really it." Taylor smiled as she was asked smaller details about her upcoming seventh studio album.
"We now know that your seventh studio album has been completed. Have you started work on your eight studio album just yet?" the main DJ asked the country pop-superstar who came over crystal clear over the phone. "I've started on the eight album about three weeks ago. I've recorded about six songs for the album. There's no determined direction well actually I shouldn't say that. The sound for the record has been established but I change my mind often. Way more often than I should. But what I've recorded so far really takes on a raw sound that I've never really did full on. I think it'll really win over some of the people who happened to stray when I changed styles. It's going to be a great album. When I finish recording it." For now you can pre-order Taylor's seventh studio album 'Electric Princess' on iTunes now and in stores this upcoming week.

Zedd appears on KMOV TV News Station in St. Louis
As you might already be aware, Zedd is hosting a concert tonight at Six Flags St. Louis; however, not all of the tickets have been sold. To raise awareness of this upcoming concert at Six Flags St. Louis as well as sell additional copies of his new album Serenity and the two singles from it, “Slay” and “Temple” (which features Lady Gaga), Zedd appeared on the KMOV CBS affiliate in St. Louis, Missouri. During his time there in the morning, he was interviewed and also performed his two current singles, “Slay” and “Temple.” The interview, done by anchors Andre Hepkins and Claire Kellett, can be found below, with the performance after the interview.
Hepkins: Welcome to KMOV, Zedd!
Zedd: Glad to be here.
Hepkins: So, your new album Serenity was just released this week. How was the process of making it?
Zedd: I wanted to get the album out as soon as possible for my fans, but I wanted to make sure it was perfect. So, it was very stressful. I collaborated with numerous people on the album and I am very proud of it.
Kellett: I actually bought Serenity already, and I loved it!
Zedd: Thank you!
Kellett: You’re welcome! Anyway, my favorite song on the album is probably “Not a Single Problem.” I love Kesha; she’s featured on that track. Do you have a favorite?
Zedd: No, I don’t. [Smiles.] I love all the songs on the album.
Hepkins: My favorite is probably Cataclysm.
Kellett: Ooh, an instrumental!
Zedd: Usually people prefer the vocal tracks. [Chuckles a bit.]
Hepkins: Anyway, what singles are you currently promoting?
Zedd: I’m currently promoting “Slay” and “Temple.” “Temple” is getting more of the focus, but I want to sell some more of “Slay” before moving onto the third single.
Kellett: I loved the music video for both “Slay” and “Temple” by the way. They were amazing!
Zedd: Thanks!
Kellett: So, your concert tonight. It’s at Six Flags, right?
Zedd: Yep. It’s tonight and it starts at 6 pm. Tickets are still available, but they are going quickly!
Hepkins: We’ll be sure to go!
Zedd: Hang on, I need to give you something. [Gives the two free press passes.]
Hepkins: Thanks so much!
Kellett: Yes, Thank you!
Zedd: No problem.
Hepkins: Now, before you perform, is there anything you’d like to say about a third single?
Kellett: Is it “Not a Single Problem?”
Zedd: Not sure yet. It’s either “I Found You” featuring Ryan Tedder or “Not a Single Problem.”
Hepkins: Well, thank you for your time, Zedd.
Zedd: Thank you for your time! See you at the concert!
After a commercial break, Zedd performed a short set in the KMOV studio. He had a DJ deck and a flat screen monitor behind him displaying visualizations. The news team in the studio were in front of the DJ deck and were definitely engaged in the performance. The performance started with “Slay.” The music video for “Slay” coupled with engaging visualizations appeared behind him. “Slay” eventually faded into “Temple,” and the music video for “Temple” was then coupled with the visualizations on the monitor behind him. As “Temple” ended, he did a short outro with the last track from Serenity, “Cataclysm.” Zedd said thank you, the news team applauded, and then the station cut to commercials. The miniature performance was very well received by viewers, who loved the break from hearing about the plane crashes and violence in the Middle East. Don’t worry though, they were ready to interrupt the interview or performance if something happened though!
Zedd's new album Serenity, featuring the singles "Slay" and "Temple" (feat. Lady Gaga) are now available on iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, various retail stores, and all Six Flags parks.

Zedd 107.7: Zedd’s Z107.7 Takeover during Lunch Hour in St. Louis
Imagine you have a job in St. Louis. You get off work at 11:58 am to go to lunch, and you turn on the radio. When the clock hits noon, you suddenly hear Zedd’s voice. You love Zedd, so you flip out due to excitement. Well, guess what? Zedd hosted the lunch hour segment of St Louis’ Z107.7 radio station. He talked about his album, his tour, how he is going to be performing at Six Flags St. Louis tonight… You know, the usual interview stuff. But he wasn’t being interviewed, he was hosting! He even played the songs! How amazing is that? This special hour takeover was branded as “Zedd 107.7.”
At noon, Zedd introduced himself and highlighted what was to be discussed during the upcoming hour: his tour, the concert at Six Flags St. Louis tonight, his new album, his current singles, his VMA nominations. He then spun a few songs, one of them being “Temple.” Coming back after this set of spins, Zedd talked about his new album: “My new album has 13 tracks. I worked with people such as Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic, Kesha, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Azealia Banks, and more on this album. It is currently available in all Six Flags parks as well as retail and digital stores. I hope you enjoy it!” He then played “Slay,” and then a few other songs such as “Fancy,” “Rude,” and “Summer.” Zedd then returned to discuss his current singles: “My current singles are ‘Slay’ and ‘Temple.’ I’m focusing on ‘Temple’ right now, which features Lady Gaga. Make sure you buy both on iTunes! ‘Temple’ is also available physically in retail stores and all Six Flags parks.” Zedd then spun a surprise- “Not a Single Problem,” which Zedd collaborated on with Kesha. He then spun a few more songs, including “Problem,” “Am I Wrong,” and “Classic.” Zedd then wanted to discuss his tour and concert: “I am currently on my new world tour, the Moment of Serenity World Tour. The first leg is all Six Flags dates, and tonight is my Six Flags St. Louis concert! Make sure you get your tickets now, because they’re almost sold out! I am giving away one special VIP ticket… It allows you to meet me and sit in a special reserved section. It costs $100 normally at Six Flags concerts, but you can win one right now if you call in!” Many people called in, and the winner was an aspiring EDM producer in St. Louis. How awesome is that? Zedd then signed off, but not before spinning “I Found You,” “Just a Little Kiss,” and “Off the Floor” from his album.
Zedd’s takeover of Z107.7 was extremely well-received by people in the St. Louis area; they say he’s the best host the radio station has had in years. They hope he returns very soon! Other people were much more critical of the takeover, calling it “strictly a promotional move” and saying that “the fact that a radio station can be bought out by a trash EDM producer so they don’t have to play real music is sickening.” Well, those people can stay pressed while the majority of people long for Zedd to return to the St. Louis airwaves. Remember: Zedd’s Six Flags concert is tonight! Make sure to get your tickets!
Zedd's new album Serenity and the singles "Slay" and "Temple" (feat. Lady Gaga) are now available on iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, various retail stores, and all Six Flags parks.

G.RL. Appears on Saturday Night Live
Saturday, July 26, 2014
(Yeah, I'm posting it early af so it doesn't get snatched. Don't quote me, Jax.)
3 paragraphs; 565 words
G.R.L. made another performance at a rather large venue (if not their biggest yet) tonight, July 26th, 2014, on Saturday Night Live, where they stopped by to participate in various activities, including being a part of a few sketches, along with performing their new buzz single, "Free". They were announced towards the beginning of the show, also being announced alongside Saturday Night Live veteran Amy Poehler making a return just for the episode. The girls were thrilled to meet Poehler at the time, and all the current hosts of the show were also happy to see her after her last appearance in 2010, which was her first appearance since she left the show in 2008. G.R.L., upon being introduced, was sure to mention "Free" and their upcoming material, once again building hype for their upcoming official single, "Afterparty", and mentioning that they were to have an EP coming sometime in the future to tease a full album they had begun recording.
As promised, all of the members of G.R.L. (including Lauren Bennett, Simone Battle, Emmalyn Estrada, Natasha Slayton and Paula van Oppen) took part in various skits throughout the show, some as groups and others as individuals. Notable skits included the four girls opening up as if they were at a concert, where Poehler introduced them as "the Pussycat Dolls", and the girls went on to imitate said group, even performing a fantastic version of "Don't Cha" (which also caused the hit song to rise a bit on iTunes charts). This small, not-so-comedic skit was called "shocking" by many viewers, due to the group constantly being compared to the Pussycat Dolls, a group that was also formed by G.R.L.'s creator, Robin Antin. Another skit included the four girls sitting down to work out their issues, with the previously-shown issues between Bennett and van Oppen dragged out, with each girl showing their various talents (including van Oppen's dancing), and the girls having a free-for-all cat fight as the hosts (including Poehler) were too frightened to intervene. The performance of all of the girls was praised by viewers, and it later turned out Poehler herself said the girls "took to comedy very naturally. They [G.R.L.] could even have a side profession as a comedy group, though I think their talents as a musical group is a smarter choice."
And finally, after their various skits throughout the show, the girls went on to perform their single "Free", which was last seen all throughout Thursday during G.R.L.'s Total Television Takeover, where the girls performed on 14 TV shows (including Good Morning America, the Today Show, the Talk, Live! with Kelly and Michael, the View, American Idol, the X-Factor, America's Got Talent, the Voice, the Ellen DeGeneres Show, the David Letterman Show, the Jay Leno Show, Late Night with Conan O'Brien and the Late Show with Jimmy Fallon). The girls moved over to a proper stage, and performed the regular version of "Free", in all it's pop/dance/electro production, with each girl showcasing their amazing vocals and van Oppen doing a typical dance of her style, which even Bennett was excited to see after their minor beef during the Total Television Takeover. Once they finished their performance of the song, the girls happily left the show, each taking turns hugging Amy Poehler before they left.

It says so at the beginning of the article. Saying "buzz single" over and over in the same article is a tad much.

Mariah Carey - "The Stygian Chevalier" Remix EP
Tracklist:
1. The Stygian Chevalier ft. Jason Aldean (Country Pop Remix) - 3:20
2. The Stygian Chevalier (Acoustic Mix) - 2:48
3. The Stygian Chevalier (David Morales Club Remix) - 8:56
4. The Stygian Chevalier (Kurd Maverick Remix) - 5:47
5. The Stygian Chevalier (Martin Garrix Dubstep Remix) - 4:48
6. The Stygian Chevalier (Instrumental) - 3:20
7. The Stygian Chevalier (Alternative Piano Rock Remix) - 4:29
Earlier today, Mariah Carey secretly released a remix EP for her latest single, "The Stygian Chevalier", suddenly which shocked the fans because they only realized the release after an hour or two. The single's remix EP stands at a price of only USD$ 5.29, which is surprisingly cheap since it includes 7 different versions of "The Stygian Chevalier".
The Country Pop remix of "The Stygian Chevalier" was released last week and it has since reached the top spot of the country radio charts. Mariah Carey told the Daily News that Jason Aldean is a fun person to work with. "He is those people who works really hard and plays really hard. He knows how to have fun to reduce his stress and he actually taught me a few methods too !! It worked a lot since I'm a workaholic as y'all know it dahhling." The single was also made into an acoustic version to showcase her vocals more. The production of the song is very simple and is only accompanied by a guitar, backing vocals and some percussions.
Mariah also worked with David Morales again for a remix on "The Stygian Chevalier" just to focus on the clubs. The song's production is reminisce of Mariah's 90s remixes like the remix of "Dreamlover" and the remix of "Can't Take That Away (Mariah's Theme)", which places Mariah's vocals on the center of attention. Mariah re-sung her vocals on this new track and she also added some ad-libs on the almost 9 minute remix track. The Kurd Maverick remix of "The Stygian Chevalier" is also a throwback remix, but it is more of a disco-inspired throwback unlike David Morales' one, which is a more dance-oriented remix.
As for the Martin Garrix remix, Mariah Carey reworked her vocals and added some background choir-inspired vocals to fit the Dubstep remix she did with Martin himself, who previously became famous for his worldwide hit, "Animals". The wobbles in the Dubstep remix is stronger and it uses an electronic piano as the main instrument of the song. The sixth song on the remix EP was the single's instrumental. The instrumental showed some detailed production that was overlooked by the public. The interpolation of Maxwell's "Fortunate" sounded clearer and fits the whole production too. Mariah stated in an interview that she decided to release the instrumental of "The Stygian Chevalier" because she feels that the production of this song is so underrated and is always overlooked upon.
The last song on the remix EP is a Alternative Piano Rock remix version of "The Stygian Chevalier". According to the critics, the song's remix has a very Coldplay-inspired and also a very The Fray-inspired production. With a grand piano as the main instrument, drums, violins and an electric guitar, Mariah croons over the subtle piano production and added some growling in between to add a little "Rock" feel to the remix. The remix EP managed to aid in the increase of Mariah's current single, "The Stygian Chevalier" sales which in turn made it go up a few spots on iTunes and Google Play. Physical sales of the remix EP was announced to be 75% sold out by other huge retail outlets.

Zedd: Moment of Serenity World Tour – Night 4 (Six Flags St. Louis)
Zedd continued his worldwide Moment of Serenity Tour at Six Flags St. Louis tonight. This concert was held at the Old Glory Amphitheater, which is has a slightly larger capacity than the last venue before the upgrades for Zedd’s concert there. As this leg will have varying stage specifications to conform to various venues, there isn’t a specified stage design (it also isn’t completed for the other legs yet). Besides, it probably is best not to have expensive stage equipment sitting outside, exposed to the elements. Anyway, the stage pretty much consists of the stage itself and an HD video screen, as well as the necessary equipment for the concert, such as lighting and speakers.
The concert started at approximately 6 pm local time. The park closed early for this concert. 2,700 fans packed into the bleachers at the venue, while 3,400 more fans packed into the general admission lawn area attached to the amphitheater. At this concert, lawn tickets were $40, top side bleacher tickets were $65, top center bleacher tickets were $75, bottom side bleacher tickets were $90, bottom middle bleacher tickets were $100, and 10 VIP tickets (special area in front of stage + meet and greet) were $150; another was given away by Zedd on Z107.7. Zedd also chooses a random person from the bleacher section to join the meet and greet. Despite this concert being much smaller than the one at Six Flags America, it is larger than the ones at La Ronde and Six Flags Great America It is sure to bring in a good amount of revenue to the tour. Concertgoers have all declared the concert amazing, despite an official stage design.
The concept of the concert is that Zedd is a DJ working his way up in the world. He starts out with an introduction that explains the backstory of the concert. After the introduction, Zedd finds himself DJing at a house party. He does a couple of tracks for them and then he leaves. There is an interlude of Conduit prior to him arriving at his next gig: a rave. He plays the Gaga-inspired track “Slay,” and then Lady Gaga herself makes a surprise appearance to sing “Temple,” “Stache,” and “Aura.” Zedd then realizes he needs to break free of this monotone life of DJing. He runs off the stage, leaving in the middle of “Shave It Up.” He returns when the song finishes and begins to break free of his monotone life of being a small-time DJ to make his move into what he was longing for, the EDM industry as a whole. Of course, during part of this he plays “Break Free.” He ends up finding success and no longer has a single problem in his life.
During the concert, every song from Serenity was performed. The concert started out with “Beautiful Sky,” which transitioned smoothly into “G.U.Y.” The rest of the concert incorporated all of the songs of Serenity, some of Clarity, and two Zedd songs from ARTPOP. As the concert ended, the audience wanted an encore. He then played “Stay the Night” and “Lost at Sea”, and after “Lost at Sea” ended, roaring applause came from the audience as people left to buy Serenity and “Temple” at shops and booths nearby the venue.

First on the tracklist is the second music video for Ellie Goulding's hit single Asleep.
This video was released on Tuesday, the 15th of July. Ellie made this video for her fans
after she finished shooting the official music video (which can be found on Youtube, Vevo
or the first remix EP). It has a different concept from the first one but it's still
interesting. You can preview it for thirty seconds right now. The second song is the
official instrumental. This was featured in many live performances of Asleep and even in
the official music, but it was never released until now. The length is exactly identical to
the single version of Asleep and you can buy this track or any other track for just $1.29.
The whole EP is available for $3.99.
Ellie Goulding collaborated with Calvin Harris before for his single I Need Your Love and now
they've collaborated again for a remix of Asleep, which is the third track on the Remix EP.
This remix is thirty-two seconds longer than the original. Cedric Gervais is popular for his
remix of Lana Del Rey's song Summertime Sadness, now he's back with a remix of Asleep. This
is the longest track on the EP, it's six minutes and four seconds long. The fifth song is the
Billboard remix. It's slower than the original, almost like a mid-tempo. It's three minutes
and twenty two second because the second chorus was cut out.
The second last song is a rock version of Asleep. Ellie re-recorded the song for this remix
with rough vocals and a completely different instrumental. The instrumental features a guitar,
drums and a bass. The final song on the EP is a cover of Rita Ora's hit song I Will Never Let You
Down. This song went #1 in the UK and was praised by many critics. The instrumental was only changed
a little bit and Ellie's vocals are completely different to Rita's. Ellie cover is three minutes and
thirty-three seconds long, which is eleven seconds longer than the original.

Kesha visits Dutch radio station Radio 538, announced as surprised guest at Turn Up The Beach
Kesha has visited Holland’s most influential radio station this afternoon, right after her performance on the North Sea Festival. The singer-songwriter joined the DJ’s Labrando and Ruud de Wild during their weekly chart countdown and the revealing of the track of the week.
Kesha opened the show by singing her latest single ‘Exorcism’ in the live booth at 538, which resulted in amazing responses from the DJ’s and on social media. People were praising her song, her vocals and Azealia’s raps as they asked for the track to be played more.
The DJ’s then went on to reveal a little something. Kesha’s track ‘Exorcism’ was featured in a program called Maak ‘t of Kraak ‘t, in which people can vote whether the radio station should keep playing the track or abandon it. The song gained a massive 97% positive votes, something that rarely happens. The DJ’s then decided to make ‘Exorcism’ the Alarmschijf, 538’s track of the week.
They also told Kesha her single ‘Beautiful Mess’ charted at #5 this week, which made Kesha cheer and thank everyone for supporting the song. The DJ’s then asked her if she could perform the song, so she did and did it phenomenally.
The DJ’s then revealed Kesha as the surprise headliner of tomorrow’s 538 Turn Up The Beach, a festival organized by Radio 538, wich features performers like Caro Emerald, Sharon Doorson, Milky Chance and Iggy Azalea.
Pre-order Kesha's highly anticipated third studio album on Itunes and get 'Exorcism' and 'Beautiful Mess' instantly. Or purchase the singles and remixes separate from Itunes, Amazon or Spotify.
