b) keep in mind that mainstream radio is limited to the area you're in a lot of times. perhaps they stan for R&B much more where you are. Miami is more in tune with the reggaeton radio anyway i'm not surprised i don't know who Too Short is.
c) rap and reggaeton around that time was one giant messy blur that folded in on itself, everything sounded the same to me. even if i did hear their songs, i'd assume they were whatever the main rapper was at the time. 2005-2007 were bleh years for me as far as music goes.
