Its very hard for me to admit this, but after I gave Lemonade 20+ spins, I think Bey is slowly converting me...
I couldnt stand her for the first 4 albums tbh, she came of too safe, too polished, shallow, manufactured and her perfect image always seemed fake to me, plus the songwriting credits... but lately as her music is becoming more daring and interesting and as she becomes more opinionated and personal, Im starting to like her. So after all these years, she realy got me with this project. I hope she keeps this up.
so do y'all in the Hive also want an Adele + Bey collab? 👍
i mainly wanted a duet last year b/c i was hoping they'd do some piano ballad b/c Bey didn't have one. but since then...Beyonce has "Sandcastles" now...so i dont really need that. but i don't hate the idea of it.
anyway...we know Drake has come out during her 2nd week...who is coming out during her 3rd?? b/c i want to know if she can go back #1 with the physicals also coming out during her 3rd week.

I don't get how anyone could call Lemonade boring. I mean, she's singing about ****ing Becky's up and working as a sex worker/stripper. WTF is going on in YOUR lives.

Overall, as a long term Beyoncé fan, I think Lemonade is probably the most OVERRATED album of her whole discography. I don't know why everyone decided that it was her best. I assume that once the hype wears off, most people are going to realize that it wasn't such a big deal after all. B'Day remains her very best. The B'Day Beyoncé is the true Beyoncé.
Why do people always roll up assuming that because THEY don't like or embrace something as much as others do, that their opinions are a valid representation of the overall WORLD. If you don't think its her best, FINE. That's you. Stop trying to placate your feelings on to everyone else. Go listen to B'Day on repeat and get your life. No one's opinion is changing just because you feel it should.

I get why some people are taken aback by Lemonade because it's such a departure for her. Sorry is really the only song that sounds like something she would have done in the past but I personally find that amazing.
She's expanded her sound and she's honestly gained so many stans from this. I've seen so many people tweeting about her and Lemonade since it came out, people that never really cared before. This album is going to be, even more than ST, a milestone in her career.
