This is the official Philippine movie poster for The Giver. They had it edited and added Taylor's face to attract more viewers.

Not that I don't like the fact that they're putting her in the spotlight (or something like that), but I just read the book last week and her role is not really that big. Idk. It may end up disappointing some of the viewers who will watch the movie because of the poster (although I think that's quite stupid that someone will decided to watch the movie because they saw her on the poster (except maybe for actual Swifties, that's quite natural)).

I kinda disagree. Love Story remains her most popular /most recognized song with fans/non fans. But for kids 14 or under, they know WANEGBT. When she performed in front of those school kids several months at her educational center, most requested she perform WANEGBT. They could recite the lyrics verbatim.

Even if you're not a Taylor fan, kids today know WANEGBT, not LS. That's why I say it's a close second after LS.

The movie industry does it all the time. There was some controversy about "12 years a slave" for the very same thing. In Europe, the posters displayed prominent photos of Brad Pitt who had a small role in the movie . But he's much popular than the main characters. They turned it into a race issue.

With all due respect to Jeff Bridges/Meryl Streep. Taylor swift will probably put more butts in the movie theater than them. Brenton/Odeya are too un-known.

Case in point, "One Chance " at the Toronto Film Festival. It was reported, the lines for the movie were for Taylor who wasn't even in the movie. They didn't even know what the movie was about or who was in it.
