True, but, Mexico does not equal Latin America. She can still do the other 3 big markets Argentina, Brazil and Chile. And hell, she can come to Mexico and sell out. Obviously, the whole "Britney seņal" drama will be brought up again.
-In addition to the recent Dublin shows added to the "Circus" tour on Friday, June 19 at the O2, Dublin arena, Britney is now confirmed to be performing 3 extra shows on her "Circus" tour, this time in Paris, France on July 4th, 5th and 6th, according to Virgin17.fr:
"Britney Spears a fait son grand retour dans les bacs fin 2008 avec son nouvel Circus, une collection de tubes pop, dance & R&B ! La lolita sulfureuse demarre une tournee mondiale, qui passera par le Paris Bercy les 4, 5 et 6 juillet prochains."
MGM officials have told me there are no official plans for any nightclub celebrations there after her show. Britney’s tour is produced by AEG Live/Concerts West, the entertainment conglomerate responsible for Cher and Bette Midler at Caesars Palace and Carlos Santana’s new residency at The Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel.
Its president, John Meglen, told me: “It is one of the biggest and best-selling tours of the decade. Response and reaction has been phenomenal worldwide, and this weekend date at MGM is the highest ticket-selling gross so far. European fans cannot wait for her to get there, and in many, many venues, the tickets have been sold out instantly, and we’ve had to juggle dates to add more shows to meet the demand.”
