About DIGNITY
Given the title and Hilary Duff's sophisticated, uptown-girl look on the cover, 2007's DIGNITY seems to announce that the teen starlet is all grown up. Yet the album is still full of effervescent dance-pop, as fresh-faced and catchy as fans of Top 40 and commercial bubblegum would expect. The production techniques, complete with electronic flourishes and nods to club music, are well crafted, to be sure, but DIGNITY isn't about cutting-edge sounds or thumping club bangers. Instead, the electro-beats reinforce the pop song structures and make the singalong tunes shine.
The most sophisticated thing about DIGNITY may be its lyrics. Gossip-mill regulars will be able to parse references to Duff's much-publicized entanglements with other commercial pop stars, but what stands out is Duff's mature response to her life's tumult. The album plays like a confession, but does so with a cool head and a clear eye, underscoring the album's title without detracting from the music's inherently fun, bouncy style.

By megafrancisco: Very bad news for Hilary
So my best friend´s brother works in Hollywood Records and according to him Dignity re-release was postponed to July/August or it might never be released.
Also Hilary said that Reach Out and Touch me will be in her 5th album so it won´t be released in January as it was supposed to happen. Hilary will be writing and recording her new album around March and it can last all year.
The only good thing is that Hilary is coming again to US in her Dignity tour because she had a lot of sucess.

John Cusack on War, Inc.
John Cusack gave a little interview recently about his upcoming movies, including ‘War Inc’ which co-stars Hilary Duff. In the interview, he has a very funny and unique way of describing Hilary Duff’s role:
"Hilary plays a very ****ty pop star, which is the real joke. The idea of Hilary, who is so classy and wholesome, playing a **** is funny. In our movie, she’s a ****ty singer who wants to be like one the girls in the headlines now, although we don’t need to name names."
The most recently updated information on this ‘War Inc’ has May 29 as the premiere date in Netherlands. Although the War, Inc Myspace announced the movie to premiere at Sundance this month, it was never scheduled. The nationwide US premiere is now listed as July 10, 2008.

Fan Vid: Timberlake VS Duff
A user on YouTube has created a video mash-up of Justin Timberlake’s "Love Stoned" and Hilary Duff’s "Stranger". Mostly it’s Timberlake remixed to sing to the beat of "Stranger", but there is some Duff in there too (particularly near the end), and the video is a mix of live concert footage of them both. He has called this video "Strange Love".

2008 is Hilary Duff's Year?!
Splashnewsonline paid Hilary Duff a huge compliment in their post entitled "Is 2008 Hilary Duff’s year?"
It looks like 2008 is going to be all about Britney Spears but I think Hilary Duff is set for a big year. Homegirl has three movies coming out in ‘08 (Greta, Food Fight, and Safety Glass) and she turns 21!
As much as train wrecks keep me employed, I have a feeling she’s not headed into Spears/Hilton/Lohan/Richie territory.
Have to agree with them there! Hilary Duff is going to make a big splash in 2008 - and it won’t be for the wrong reasons.
What kind of public recognition / awards do you think Hilary could achieve in 2008? What do you think will give her a boost in recognition of her music, acting or business?

Rumor has it that Hilary is not satisfied just remixing songs for a Dignity re-release and would rather release a whole new album. Hollywood Records is rumored to not be ready for this. I suppose we’ll see what happens!

She's not writing songs for Vanessa...lol
Hilary wrote a song for the Dignity re-release and she didn't like the turn-out so her label gave it to Vanessa.
She's not exactly writing songs for her but she's proved that she can write great songs so hopefully the song she wrote for V is good.
But she has written a song that is offered and given to V, right?? So maybe that means she writes songs now. Hopefully "I Will" will be a great track..
