"People" have no taste these days, but they used to. How do you explain Korn, Marilyn Manson, Orgy, P.O.D. [among others] charting high back in 1998-2000? It could happen again but TRL doesn't support that kind of music anymore, sans P.O.D. and to a lesser extent, Korn. The only way such bands would make it on is if their singles do well on the CHR/Pop chart, and that never used to be necessary. With the bullet Incubus have with "Dig" on CHR/Pop right now, I don't see why it wouldn't at least get a First Look. Same with Papa Roach and "Forever".
Oh, and this is lovely: no TRL for 2 weeks. Looks like it's going to be cancelled indefinitely, so why not just throw some quality rock songs on for the **** of it?
